Wow! i haven't seen this movie in such a long time but I remember liking it as a kid and think it's worth a watch. As for the DVD i'm not to sure about that one as i've never seen the DVD.
Disneybell wrote: Peter pan I haven't seen it but I really want to :)?
I liked it as a kid and just watched it again last night and i've gotta tell ya i didn't like it as much as i did as a kid but nonetheless it's a good and humorous movie which is definately worth a watch if not yet seen overall though i'd say it's pretty good but not the best.

Peter pan I haven't seen it but I really want to :)
I have seen Oliver and Company the movie, but I do not own the DVD..mainly because I feel a movie like that should have 2-Discs! ;)
As for the movie, I ENJOYED IT! It really is great and so are the Billy Joel songs! 8)

Peter Pan goes the same with Oliver & Company! (The 2-Disc thing and not owning the Limited Edition! 8))
But the movie is highly entertaining!

You should rent them tonight Disneybell! I think you'll like them!! :D

I don't buy things off the internet i was wondering cause today at the mall I was in this music/DVD store and surprisingly saw the Sleeping Beauty SE there and I didn't know if I should buy it.

I have a question i've been to www.ultimatedisney.com/releasetypes.htm and understand the difference in all editions

Except for Platinum and Special

It doesn't really state the difference between these two, can anyone help me out

Because if there isn't a big difference i'll just buy the SE since it's color is restored and sound is improved anyway

Those are the 2 most important things to me

I DON'T understand WHY they would release a SB PE! The SE DVD is super great! :D I like it lots and its features! I think it's worth the buy! it's a great release..but I don't know if you could wait till 2008 for this movie!

it's all in the name...it's all in the name.
I only assume that Disney wants MORE money since Disney DVD collectors are all about the name (PE sounds the BEST doesn't it ;))

LoL it actually does but the names not important the movie is

Thnx for the help, I can understand if it was comparing a SE to a LE or something but PE and SE are both good

I'll just get the SE since there's no big difference as long as it has the color restoration and sound improvement i'll be happy with it :)

Hey yeah that too, it's actually a big thing for me too I get mad if I don't have a slipcover

I have no clue why i just like having one if the DVD is meant to have one and in this case it is

But the one i saw did have one so it's all good :P

Well Thnx once again :D

Dan05,
I don't know about the Rescuers vs. the second one as I've only watched the first one! :(
maybe when they get better packaging, i'll pick up the two together!

And about MICKEY'S TWICE UPON A CHRISTMAS, I liked it! :)
Wasn't the best, but it was enjoyable. It's CGI, so I don't know if you have a closed mind or open mind about it, but the stories are fine (Huey, Luey, Duey, and then Minnie and Daisy...with a twist of Fantasia in it!, and Mickey and Pluto..and everyone else!) Those are the three segments to it. The deleted scenes is also good to watch too! :)

It also comes with a slipcover, but I wouldn't pay more than $15.00 for it. ;) But you know the drill, if you're unsure, you might as well rent then buy. :P

I too enjoyed Twice Upon A Christmas, but not to the extent that I would run out and buy it right away. However, I would watch it again for sure and I'll probably buy it eventually. I still prefer these characters in 2-D though, although their transition to 3-D was a lot better looking than I thought it was going to be
Cheers!

OH GOD YOU SHOULD BUY IT! Why wait till 2008? This version is perfect. The picture is so crystal clear! I just watched this a few weeks ago when we got our 57" widescreen HDTV... omg :jawdrop: Beautiful...

Okay this weekend i'm gonna rent some Disney movies which you guys gave me your thoughts on which helped me decide on whether or not to rent them so there is yet again another movie I am wondering about before I make my final decision on which ones to rent and that movie is Brother Bear is it worth a rent? What did you guys think of it?

Fun And Fancy Free Didn't see it.
Lady And The Tramp I didn't like this movie. No real story line.
Melody Time Haven't seen it.
Pinocchio I'm not a big fan of the 1940s movies. I think Disney had it right, in the late 1980s and 1990s.
The Hunchback Of Notre Dame One of my absolute favorties. This movie is right up there with Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast. Great story and music!
The Jungle Book Another okay movie. Not alot happens story-wise. Gets boring after a while.
The Three Caballeros Dont want to see it.

Brother Bear This was very good. Highly under-rated. Some have said its similar to The Lion King but I didnt see it. It seemed kinda short but I would definetly recommend it. The music the Phil Collins did for it is really good too!

As for the ones I haven't seen, those 4 or 5 movies that were made consecutively (Melody Time, Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, etc.) dont interest me at all. The Black Cauldron does however. Whats it about? It looks very different from the other Disney films. Also, even though The Rescuers Down Under is one of my favorites, I have never seen the first one. How is it compared to the sequel?
