BAMBI SE/PE with Free Thumper Plush ($14.99)
The Spongebob SquarePants Movie ($14.99)
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves ($27.50)*

ahh, those Best Buy people noticed I didn't come in last week!
and they didn't CALL the other companies about the in-stock price match thing.

*- Don't you love buying New, Sealed DVDs from friends in college? They need the money immediately so they have to take the best offer. ;) That loss was my gain! :D

Hey, guys. I admit. I bought "Surviving Christmas". But, you know, "Affleck was da bomb in Phantoms", so I'm sure it's OK!

Some of us buy things blind. I've had no chance to see Surviving Christmas (or Wonderfalls) but if something catches my eye, and I find the description intresting. I'll get it.

I got a lot of stuff today, because I rang up the post office and chased a number of parcels which are a number of weeks old. Plus, it's insane how cheap US stuff is over here thanks to the falling Dollar

Bambi. I got it ten minutes ago at Shopper's Drug Mart. It was the first movie I had bought in my own town since I got my Toy Story VHS nearly a decade ago.

It was about time I got Bambi! ...and I wasn't going into the city until next Tuesday but I could not wait.

Sadly it is one with glue and not velcro.

The Lion King 1 1/2 (with slipcover for $10) at Blockbuster. I went looking for Resident Evil 2 when I saw it for sale. Altough I didn't planned on buying it (the only sequels I would buy were the Aladdin ones) the price was too good to let it pass....not to mention the OOP situation, and as a parody (not sequel) is good.

Resident Evil 2. Even tough I don't love the movie I have to admit it is better than the first part, and besides I'm a fan of the games and already had the first part. What made be buy it today was the fact that I bought a t-shirt today that reads: Umbrella Corporation (with the logo) 8) .

I went looking for this movie used first since I don't believe it's worth full price. Went to the first Blockbuster in my city and they didn't have it. Went to EB, didn't have it either. I decided to give up and buy it new at Walmart but they didn't have it. Finally I decided to check on the last Blockbuster and buy it new there... didn't think they had it used since I was there a couple of days ago. Nevermind I go to check on the used section and there it was!!!! The only copy they had for sale staring right at me in the first shelf :P .

...one of the employees came to assist me and I told her the whole story. And then she told me that they had this special of 2 for $20 so I ended up buying Kill Bill Vol.1 as well. (which I haven't seen)

....not a bad shopping spree, for a night when I didn't expect to buy anything in the first place

I enjoyed 'Resident Evil: Apocalypse' although it was too obvious at some points that Raccoon City was Toronto and I only go to Toronto once a year. I think I already said that though before in this forum. In case not, there it is again. I find it good mindless fun especially since by half an hour into it I was wondering, "So when is the movie going to actually start?" :) It felt like the opening action sequence never ended.

And I don't know if you played the games, especially the third part in which this one is based as to say how similar it is.

What hate the most about Paul Anderson is the fact of the way he directs fights: extreme close ups and messy cameras where you don't understand what the he.... it's going on. Like he did on AVP.

My Pocahontas: 2 Disc Special Edition arrived early today! And the best part is that the people on the other side of the pond don't have it yet. :P
