Restarting membership
I've seen people talk about starting up a new account with the Disney Club. Do they allow this or do you have to give different address? I've already completed my obligations for membership and was wanting to re-start my membership and take advantage of getting the FREE videos for joining if it is allowed to sign up again if you already have an account.

Yeah, it's allowed. It's even encouraged! Now if you were wanting to start a 2nd simultaneous account and keep your VIP account open, that might be a different story, though I'm not sure.

Thanks for the info.. I'll give them a call today and see what they say. I might just open one in my wife's name so I can keep my VIP status? Is there any real advantage to VIP status. I've bought all of my required DVD's and assume I'm a VIP member, but haven't noticed any difference. What kind of deals do (should I) be getting.

Supposedly once you complete your membership agreement, you get bigger and better savings. I've heard people say that this is where the big savings come in. I'm not yet a VIP member, so I'm really not sure.
If you set up a second account under your wife's name (assuming they allow two at the same address), you might want to invite her under your account so you get a free dvd out of it!

I've talked to them... technically you are only allowed one account per person/address/email and only one at a time. It's not impossible to get around that, though.
You're certainly allowed to restart after completing your agreement, though- so long as it isn't to buy multiple Treasures sets.

You can do it right away, though I've had trouble with one CM on that before. I ended up having to talk to her manager, who wanted to know why I wouldn't just stay on as a VIP. I told her that quite frankly DMC is barely worth it as it is and I prefer to work off 3 free new movies. She said fair enough and restarted me.
