Anybody own a website?

Post by HalRoachFan »

I own www.thelittlerascals.net , dedicated to the classic original 1922-1944 theatrical short series with mischevious kids and annoyed grownups. Steve Ramsey's famous Rascals site disappeared, unfortunately, so I started my own (and in MY opinion, mine looks better  )

I don't own www.ycdtotv.com (Nickelodeon's You Can't Do That On Television), but I'm a member of the Slime Society, one of the 'helpers' there. I've been appointed one because I've been a visitor there since the domain has been around and me and another fan, Will, used to have our own site about all the new information we discovered since the first convention for the show in 2002 at CJOH in Canada. Then the webmaster asked us to transfer the new info to his site and the rest is history. :)

I own 2 websites.

www.sirens-grotto.com which is my main site to both my sites, but it mostly is for my music videos page.

And www.small-one.tv which is my Disney's The Small One website. About the 1980's featurette about a boy who has to sell his beloved donkey.

I own a few art galleries / subdomains.

http://starionwolf.deviantart.com

Edit: DeviantArt.com seems to be down now.

I hope I can get my own website to build a Lion King Fansite soon. I might use Yahoo! Webhosting to host my site.

Wow, a site in Nederlands! Ik spreek een beetje Nederlands.

Thanks for sharing the cool links.

This is slightly off topic:

I'll need to read about Nameservers and DNS if my dad buys some webspace for me. I think most websites have a primary and secondary nameservers.

I didn't realize that setting up a new website on a webhost involved so much technical services and components.

I used Geocities for a while, but I didn't need to worry about name servers. :p My only complaint with Geocities and Tripod is the limited amount of monthly bandwidth. Geocities actually has hourly limits.

I have The 10th Kingdom Fan Club & Street Team and a few Amy Grant sites, most notably the once-very-popular The Grant Report (spoof on The Drudge Report). I once updated it constantly and it was the best place on the web for breaking Amy news and even inside scoops! Then I found a little site called UD, though, and haven't had the time to update in a very long time, as you can see.

My husband has www.michelli.net . It is not a disney related site. Hopefully, he will get our pictures up from our three trips to DisneyWorld some time soon. In the meantime, you can see pictures from Iraq and Afghanistan if you would like (They are under the Army section) and pictures of our little pug (Rudy).

I have a few sites....

My Deviantart page. I'm addicted to it.
Sheezyart account. I hate SA, always down.
My comics site. Still redoing things, so it sucks a bit.

I'm also thinking about making another site which will be a place to help you on Zelda and Pokemon games.

I'll take a look at your artwork umbreongirl. SheezyArt is back up. It's fast now. It's still a little buggy for me: I can't add people to my friend's list. I'll try to send in a bug report.

I don't have a website but my boyfriend has a band website. It's www.nomadicsanctuary.com it's melodic rock influenced by the Tea Party, Rush and Led Zeppelin. It's mainly hard rock. There's a contact email address on the site as well. Plus he has his own recording studio which I believe there's a link to it on the site. The band is based in Canada. Cheers.

I own/run @ccess The Golden Girls. I also design websites as a kind of sideline to my day job and run sites for my husbands company aswell as some others.

One of these days I will get around to putting some content into my portfolio site, Purple Lime Design. Just a holding page there right now.
