Was there ever a version released in one of those white double thick cases? (Like the one 20,000 Leagues comes in)
I could have sworn i saw one somewhere and i know some one who claims to have this version (although this person is not very reliable)
Does anyone know if this version really exists?

Nope, its first and only DVD release was in the thin black keepcase.
