The Incredibles certainly deserved the Oscar... hooray! There was a big cheer in our house, then we lost interest and changed the channel. I'm excited to see the movie again on DVD in a couple of weeks. The Incredibles should have won Best Picture... even though it wasn't nominated. Congratulations to the best studio on earth!

i woudl say IN YOUR FACE EISNER! now see how the "pathetic humans of PIXAR" won the OScar this year, just a year after, guess who? PIXAR with Nemo. Gosh, Eisner, just look at your bright future, with the departure of PIXAR and MIRAMAX (Neverland, Aviator...), Disney 's future not so bright for me....

Yes for Pixar, yes for Brad Bird, yes for the team of Emeryville!

I second that. Eternal Sunshine was badly snubbed at the Oscars this year, so I believe they probably won Best Original Screenplay as a "consolation prize." Yay for kRaZy Charlie Kaufman! :D

Oh - and congrats to Pixar too, of course. ;) Unsurprising, but well-deserved. 8)
Count me as number three. I'm so glad it won atleast one award. I don't know if it was really a consolation prize though... Charlie Kaufman is a great writer. :)

...still I really thought it should have got nominated for Best Picture and for sure... best director.

WoO hOO wOO HoO!!! I knew this would happen! If I didn't love Eternal Sunshine so much I would have loved Incredibles to have won Original Screenplay (I am fine either way)!! :D  :D

I still hope to see The Incredibles soon. Never got the chance to see it when it was in theaters and isn't in the $2 ones yet. Oh well. It'll be on dvd soon enough. But I thought Edna was funny with Pierce. You could tell he (pierce) wasn't too sure about what was going on.
But congrats to all involved with the movie. I'm sure it was well-earned.
