You can buy from Best Buy online, do in-store pickup, and still support the site. Just FYI.Ciaobelli wrote:As much as I would like to support the site (I have before), I don't want to spend $4 more and have to wait for it to ship.
Best Buy is where its at.

If you do in-store pick-up, do you pay online or in-store? I'm low on cash and so have to use my RewardZone certificates to pay for Bambi. I'd like to support the site on this one, but that's the only way I'll be able to.

in-store pick-up: it's kind both (paying online and in-store) they place a hold for you by using your credit card; so they basically get its number, but they don't charge you. The only time they charge you is when you go there personally to pick up your items. It's like a hold and your "credit card" is your ticket to get the items.awallaceunc wrote:If you do in-store pick-up, do you pay online or in-store? Well, basically I paid in-store after I reserved/ordered it online. (that's when my credit card got swiped and i had to sign and was given an official receipt)
I assume it should be the same with the RZ certificate because they always say please have your I.D. present when picking up.
you could always call them. I'm also finding a way to support the site by going through the best buy link but i'm trying to figure out how can i get the thumper plush

Thanks, RJKD23. I'll call them or go by there today and ask.
Surely they will give you the Thumper plush when you go by and get it at in-store pick-up. I imagine if you walk in and get the plush and then go up to the counter to get the DVD, they would give it to you. Anyone know the official word on this?

I refuse to put a Credit Card out on line because mine got hacked a few years ago and it took me over three years to settle the score with Amazon and the person who screwed my credit up for all that time.
I never buy on line anymore unless they accept money orders. I would rather buy at Best Buy, Good Guys, Circuit City, K-Mart, Wal-Mart or even Target.
Incidentally, I got "Bambi" today at K-Mart, they are so stupid here in Kansas that they always roll out new titles on Monday instead of Tuesday. I also picked up "Flight of the Phoenix" for 14.99 at the same time. "Bambi" was $17.99 and came with a box of Bambi Kleenex and a Thumper keychain.
Suncoast Motion Picture Company, located in most malls, has the best deal on "Bambi". You get a cell from the movie, a plush animal and the feature film for $19.99 plus you get a $3 coupon good for your next purchase.
Good luck on whatever decision you make as far as your Bambi purchase. If you have a K-Mart, check them out. It's probably sitting on the shelf boldly.

Krogers stores usually make big Disney titles a "dinner and a movie" promotion. With Aladdin, you got a rotisserie chicken, a salad, popcorn, toothbrushes, 2 bottles of coke, animal crackers, and about 2 other things for less than $20. I'm sure Bambi will be the same deal.

I wanted to order online but was shocked at the inflated price with tax and shipping. It was like $28 for just the DVD with Lithographs! I usually preorder Platinums at the Disney Store becuase I love collecting the lithographs, but I guess because of the Incredibles Preorder, they didn't offer the Bambi one too. This was very disappointing because I didn't want to resort to an online purchase.
Anyhow my point is, is there a way I the Lithographs by themselves so I can buy Bambi wherever I want?

same question for me, like if i walk inside the Disney Store will i be able to buy the same stuff (lithos, plush and pins). i never buy anything at the Disney store, i buy my movies at Walmart or Best Buy.Kram Nebuer wrote:I wanted to order online but was shocked at the inflated price with tax and shipping.
