I was just saying how Edna's wicked awesome costumes should have earned a nomination. At least she got to present the award!

Woohoo!

Congrats on Incredibles, Brad Bird's and Pixar's behalf on two jobs well done. :) And FantasiaMan, let's keep DreamWorks out of this before it becomes a war. ;)
Cheers,

Awesome...great work, Pixar and Brad Bird. However, I think that the chances of Incredibles winning Best Original Screenplay are slim...

EDIT: yep, it lost Original Screenplay...but two Academy Awards is still pretty good!

i hope they change the cover art to include a banner saying "the Winner of Two Academy Awards" and have a litlle picture of the oscar next to it, that seems appropriate enough, hehe.

^ That could be why they left the space at the bottom of the front cover empty. In case they won something.

Yeah, but let's face it, Eternal Sunshine kicked all kinds of butt. I was glad that won instead.

I don´t think they´re gonna add anything, there´s no time, all the copies should be printed by now....

but, I´m so glad the Incredibles won this year, and Edna Mode was fantastic!! I wonder what the audience of the Kodak Theater actually saw on stage....

I second that. Eternal Sunshine was badly snubbed at the Oscars this year, so I believe they probably won Best Original Screenplay as a "consolation prize." Yay for kRaZy Charlie Kaufman! :D

Oh - and congrats to Pixar too, of course. ;) Unsurprising, but well-deserved. 8)

Part of me was dreading the idea of Shrek 2 winning Best Anim. Feature.. (A repeat of when Monsters Inc. got robbed a few years ago...) so I was quite relieved when they announced a Pixar win. And I agree. I think they do have one of the best studios around!
