New Disneyland atraction

Post by Fullhousegurl »

There is a new thing at DisneyLand (California) called Disney's Mysteries, Myths & Legends! During the last few hours of the park being open, guests "check in" at the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror for a special tour, in which you recieve a glowing blue amulet to "keep you safe" during a tour you'll probably only forget after 2 or 3 years. The tour guide, Gracey, gives you a tour of the hotel, giving myths and legends about Disneyland along the way. here is one of them:

A long time ago (duh), there was a village. The parents of the village had missing children and thought that the yeti from the Matterhorn had took them. It was actually an evil wizard! When the parents found this out, they tried to get to their children, but the yeti scared them away. Now, the children are forced to sing the same song (It's a Small World After All) indefinitely! The end.

Quite honestly, I would rather do the real tour of Disneyland with some of the real behind the scenes stories rather than made up corny myths.

And, posts about Disneyland would usually go under Off Topic. The main page topics should at least allude to Disney DVDs or movies in some way.

Anyways I voted maybe. That sound interesting but it may be a while before I go to Disneyland or any Disney theme park.

Real tours that explain real things can be just as fun.

Yeah I read about this... doesn't sound too exciting. As JJJ said, I'd rather do the real tours (I've never done any of them because they are so costly but would really like to... maybe when I'm a CM). Does this one cost extra money? I'm guessing so.

I'm afriad I must agree. There are many fasinating things to learn that actually happend in the Disney parks and corperations. I'd go as far to say they are far more interesting than somthing they made up.
