the quality seems not ot be nearly as good as Lilo2 and Bambi2...

In fact it seems more like the TV show to me...

I doubt they would spend the extra cash for the shading on the TV show.

i meant the quality of the sequel seems more like the TV show's. Judging by the pics... just as we could say that Lilo2 and Bambi2 looked quite okay judging by the pics posted here.

They have some great talent down in the Sydney studio, but I really hate that rim lighting they use all the time. Looks cheap.

From the pictures it seems of the quality of Tarzan and jane which is really bad
Lilo: David, I got a new dog!
David: Huh? You sure it's a dog?
Lilo: Uh-huh. He used to be a collie before he got run over.

Not the worst animation I've seen. It looks good... but really not too great but there's not enough for me to judge on.

Ah well... I won't be seeing this for a while. My local video store has no copies of Tarzan! Geez am I going to have to go into the city now. :headshake:

Well I think it looks much better than most of the sequels, I'm actually looking forward to this. Only thing that bothers me is that Tarzan is not grown up in this and that makes this more kiddie-film. Oh well...

The chara design of this old ape is so awfully basic.... Can't get excited by this movie in any way...

Why is Zugor so basic? How do you want him to look? There are 3 Tarzan II stills on the net now, and everyone is already saying this will suck? Talk about being pessimistic!

Hey Jens, was wonderign where you've been! :D
funny we could judge how good Lilo and Bambi sequels looks from a few stills but for Tarzan 2 we can't say that it looks cheap...

it is basic and unimaginative because it has NO appeal to me, a white beard?? Come on, it is the most cheap way to show that the ape is old...

I'm not saying you can't say that it looks cheap... You have every right do so... However, I don't think anyone should base their opinion about the overall movie on these 3 screens that are available already...

Well, you didn't answer my question anyway... How would you make him look?

I think everyone here has commented strictly on the screens. I'm keeping an open mind. I have renewed hope after watching The Lion King II!

Well right now Tarzan II IS those 3 screens available on the net to many people... But again, I'm not saying everyone here is not open-minded. I just didn't expect a reaction like this to 2 stills
