They started renting Bambi PE today, a week ahead of the actual release date. They seem to do that often; I recall seeing the director's cut of Donnie Darko available at least a week before the 15th.

Well I can see why that can be very exciting for consumers and fans, but in the bigger scheme of things, it's really quite disappointing and can get the store in quite a bit of trouble (such as fines).

Yeah they can get into real trouble doing that. Best Buy accidentally put a copy of a movie I wanted a day early and they couldn't sell it to me because they could have recieved some pretty bad fines.

I think it's cool but I would keep it to yourself.

As a few others have said, that is bad what they are doing. They can get "huge fines", it is illegal to do that until the release date.

you should report them so you can get some free $$$ just kidding you can get can always use that against them to get free rentals
