EDIT: Sorry, I though it was through May. Nothing in February or April for me, suprisingly.

I'm worried that a SE of Passion of the Christ is looking less and less likely for an Easter time frame now. Unless we see something in the next week or two (at the most), then it probably won't happen, and I may just go ahead and get the disappointing single discer out now.

Its odd. I was just browsing PLAY.COM and couldn't find the previously mentioned POTC SE. I think plans have changed.awallaceunc wrote:I'm worried that a SE of Passion of the Christ is looking less and less likely for an Easter time frame now. I've been worrying about it, too. There were so many rumors pointing to an Easter release. Perhaps it will come this year but at a later (and somewhat more random) time? I do know that an edited version of the film containing less violence is coming in limited release for Easter, so maybe if response is solid for it, a SE will come (though I'll be really ticked off if the edited version ends up on the SE; either give me the current cut or give me an extended one). It's also possible that Fox is waiting for The Passion to nab an Oscar (or two or three) so they can plaster it on the cover.

Region 2 release dates here...
I'm not going to date each thing because...
*Pocahontas
*Numerous previously released material
These things are things I'll be buying with my own money, other things I'll just ask for my Birthday on June 16th, and I can imagine The Incredibles will be in the summer sales shortly after, so I'll just buy it then.
- (a) I'm too lazy.
(b)I normally don't end up buying things first week as there isn't so much in the way of vastly reduced prices during the first week of sales in the UK.

There's a 4-DVD boxset that I MUST buy when I stumble across a copy somewhere in a store. It's been released yesterday (2/22/05) and this DVD set is Edison: The Invention of the Movies.

This is an incredible set, especially for me because during my late elementary school years and onward, I've had an interest in early cinema and how motion pictures got started. Years before, I knew Edison invented the light bulb since that is often mentioned in school, but I was surprised when I first heard in middle school that Edison also invented movies! I taped a special on The History Channel years ago about Edison's invention of the movies and was fascinated with it. I can't wait to get this.
