It's Touchstone but it's part of the family...
I finally saw The Village and I was disappointed. Many people I know love M Night Shymalan but apart from 'Unbreakable' I feel he tries to hard or think he is doing better than he really is.
Some people sy he is the new Hitchcock. I only see someone trying to be Hitchcock and not getting very far.

Today, I watched Bambi for the first time in ages on getting the UK DVD. I liked it, but compared to the other early Disney classics (all the single plot features from the 30s, 40s and 50s as well as Fantasia), I think it's got to be the weakest. And don't take that as an offence, anybody; the period between Snow White and Sleeping Beauty is my favourite period of Disney film production, and all films, including Bambi deserve their classic status.

Lilo and Stitch and Brother Bear. Same creative team and same result. Both are excellent. Really I think both would be among my favorite 10 Disney films.
