slipcovers
It's free of charge. It doesn't matter if you called the U.S. number or the Canadian you still get your order from the U.S.

Of course they do. All of the Platinums have them, and most of the special editions as well (everyone that the Americans got, we got as well). There is one notable exception, several of the Americans on this board say that they have never seen a Monster's, Inc with a slipcover, whereas I know for a fact that I saw many up here in Canada when it first came out (I remember this clearly because it was the first movie I saw with a slipcase on it)Wonderlicious wrote:Do Canadian Disney DVDs come with slipcovers at all?

Yeah, that stupid thing is a major eyesore!! I don't see why they bother, even when they put it on there, I still get people coming into work, renting movies and asking if it's in french! Can people not read?! The other thing that it does is make people think that the movie is ONLY in French. Nobody can read anymore!!thatartguy wrote:Yeah, but they all have that inane "French Track Included" printed on the cover.Jayden wrote: Of course they do. The French 2 Disc of Mulan is pretty much the same as the US and English version, although the French cover of Lilo can be found here.

The three new Miyazaki sets all come with non-book-like-opening slipcovers!

i don't get the DVD if it doesn't have a slip cover and i know it's supposed to, lol. I've run into a little bit of a problem with this though... i cna't find and "A Bug's Life" CE with one... i've been lookin for months but they are all out i guess! maybe i'll have to wait until it's released again!
The original CE didn't come with a slipcover, but the reissue (the one in the thinner swinging arm amaray case) did. Call Disney and ask them to send you one.singerguy04 wrote:i don't get the DVD if it doesn't have a slip cover and i know it's supposed to, lol. Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.
tsk tsk, what a bad way to choose whether to buy a DVD or not!singerguy04 wrote:i don't get the DVD if it doesn't have a slip cover and i know it's supposed to, lol. anyways, you can try your luck (what Key said) by calling Disney...
or you can find a GOOD/GREAT seller on EBAY with a real picture of the DVD and its shiny cover.

I love it cover!

That information needs added to the list (hint, hint!)Luke wrote:The three new Miyazaki sets all come with non-book-like-opening slipcovers!
Also, Bambi: SE has a book-type SC, either with Velcro or "boogers"...
Finally, The Incredibles has a non-book SC (shiny, although the regular cover isn't shiny.)

Spy Kids isnt a Disney film, but the first did not have a slipcoverlittlefuzzy wrote:BTW, would the Spy Kids films count? They are from Dimension, which is a branch of BVHE, afaik.
If they would count for this list, Spy Kids 2 had a nice slipcover, and Spy Kids 3-D also had one. I am not sure about the first movie, though.
