Of course this is just my opinion. Some claim this tops the original. I doubt most will think the same way...
I guess that's why they're selling Mulan higher than $17.00 here.
I think I'll give this a shot...man, I really like Mulan! I'll see if I agree or disagree with you after I watch it.
I thought Mulan II was worth a rent. Definitely one of the better dreck-to-videos.
Anyhoo, I just finished watching The Emperor's New Groove with the audio commentary and I nearly fell asleep. It's so boring! It was highly informative and whatnot but it just wasn't fun like Beauty and the Beast's commentary was fun. The people just didn't seem as comfortable with each other and that took away from it.
I just finished watching select shorts from Mickey Mouse In Living Colour Volume 2. These were:
Mickey's Delayed Date
Mr. Mouse Takes A Trip
Mickey And The Seal
The Little Whirlwind
The Nifty Nineties
Orphans Benefit
&
Symphony Hour

At least one good thing came out of my Criminal Law in Context class! Thanks Maeve!

I haven't actually heard any good comments on this movie yet but I still want it. I'm hoping it's somewhat decent since Mulan is one of my favourites.

I never saw your post until now. I bought it. I couldn't help it since it was Mulan! I won't be able to hold back for the Brother Bear sequel either.
I'm sure I'll enjoy Mulan II... I really hope. I doubt I'll fully hate it and if I don't like at all I'll sell it off to someone.
You were the one that bought Mulan II for $24, right (is that in Canadian currency or U.S. currency? I'm really not sure about the conversion rate at the moment )? For that price I really hope you do enjoy it.
I saw Beauty and the Beast with the audio commentary. The Emperor's New Groove's rather sleep-inducing commentary made me want to stick in something a bit more lively (er, in the player, I mean).
Yup that's the Canadian price and it's the average price for a new Disney animated movie here. I hope I enjoy it too. I'll probably watch it in a day or two.
I just watched Toy Story for the first time. I can't believe I've never seen these movies until now.
Toy Story is HILARIOUS, and a very cute story. I've got Toy Story 2, and the third disc of Bonus Features to watch. I probably won't be able to watch them for a couple of days, and I can't wait!
Just started into my new set Mickey Mouse In Living Colour!
In regards to Black Cauldron, I think that it is an acquired taste in movies. I myself remember liking it, although I haven't seen it in a few years now. Hmmmm... I'll have to add that to my list of Reading Week viewing material
Cheers!

Pirates of the Caribbean (first time seeing my own copy instea dof someone elses)
Speaking of The Black Cauldron... I really like that movie. It could have been better of course but I grew up with it and I guess that's partly why I like it so much. Same goes for The Fox and the Hound. Both great movies that most fans seem to put to the side... but not me!
Mulan II --> a charming sequel
Brother Bear --> one of my favs
Lilo and Stitch --> BEST DISNEY MOVIE OF ALL TIME
The Lion King --> ANOTHER FAV!!!!!!!!!
Mulan -- One of my favorites
Brother Bear -- Love the music and the story
Home on the Range -- More entertaining every time I watch it. This one has really grown on me.
The Absent Minded Professor -- Nice to watch a b&w film occasionally. Fred MacMurray was one of the best!
"Don't shake if you don't mean it." Pacha in The Emperor's New Groove
In going through Disc 2 of my recently purchased "Micky Mouse in Living Colour Vol. 2", I watched:
Mickey's Christmas Carol The Prince and the Pauper Runaway Brain
It was definately the first time I'd seen the first two, but I believe I may have seen the '95 short at some point in the past. I'm somewhat suprised I'd never seen the Christmas Carol, as I'd imagine it's been aired frequently during Christmas over the years. They were all highly enjoyable nonetheless, Christmas Carol probably holding special appeal for me as it orginated the same year I was born.
