Question for those who bought The Ultimate Toy Box at retail

Post by MadonnasManOne »

Can anyone who bought The Ultimate Toy Box at retail (sealed), tell me if the individual disc boxes were sealed inside the set?

I got my sealed set that I bought off of E-bay, today, and opened it, but the individual disc boxes were not sealed. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, it appears that the person I bought it from either bought the set, and didn't realize it, or put shrink wrap on an open set. Either way, the DVD's, boxes, etc. are in perfect condition, and they are the real deal. It's just that I was supposed to be buying a SEALED set, not one that has been re-sealed.

As long as there are no scratches on anything and everything is there, who cares.

I agree, it's not a big deal. Everything is mint, and authentic. It's just that the seller on E-bay sold it as a NEW Mint/Sealed copy, saying that it had never been opened.

I'm happy to finally have the set, and as I've never seen the movies, I'm excited to watch them. I'm watching Toy Story right now, and it is HILARIOUS!

Glad you're enjoying it (and judging from another post you made in another thread, this is the first time you're viewing these two great movies)! Pixar at its greatest (well, until The Incredibles popped along, anyway). ^-^

I myself have yet to get The Ultimate Toy Box, but I'll get one eventually.
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

I think maybe one of my three were sealed. Your mileage may vary.

I'm trying to remember if the bonus disc was sealed. I don't think so.

When I bought "The Ulitimate Toy Box" the day it came out at Best Buy, it had the "Buena Vista" marked shrink wrap, and each of the discs were not wrapped individually. Also each disc had a certain set of inserts, so you could check that way and see if yours has all the inserts.

None of my discs were sealed but the outer cover was and I bought it from SAMS forever and a day ago. I sold it on ebay, and now I wish I didn't.
