Question about The Rocketeer
How is the quality on the DVD release? Is it worth picking up, or is the transfer really that bad? I don't want to buy it since it's a bare bones release, but it's the only option that's out there since the movie was underrated and underperformed. Anyone know if there's a plan of rerelease?

It's barebones, comes with just the trailer. I can't remember if it's anamorphic or not, though I'm thinking it's non-anamorphic. There's a review here, which I can't post the link to as I have to get to work.
The picture quality is passable, whenever I watch it, it looks fine (of course, my eyes aren't trained for minute detail on the screen like every other DVD enthusiast). In the beginning though, you can see that the black is a sort of "red", when you compare it to the black bars.
