Individual Treasures Now Available

Post by Bill W »

I got my monthly packet from the Disney Movie Club yesterday and noticed they were advertising individual Walt Disney Treasures from Waves 2 and 3. I've searched the website for this, but can't find it. The flyer also listed the complete Wave 1 set (set only), but as has been mentioned previously, the website no longer shows Wave 1. If anyone needs just one or two of the sets from Wave 2, this would be a great way to get it for a decent price.

Really...hmmm....have to check out my mailer.

Looks like you're right. They all have individual ISBNs to order them individually :thumb:

The most recent catalogue once again was offering Walt Disney Treasures. This time they were all available to be purchased individually, including all titles from Waves 1 and 2 except Silly Symphonies. They had individual numbers for each one. It appears some are available on the website, but not all.

I haven't gotten my DMC mailer... it's at home and I'm at school. Can anyone give me the ISBNs for the 3 Wave 1 Treasures through the club? Thanks!

Hey, I'll get them for you as soon as possible. I just ordered MMin living Color 1. My mailer's at home as well. THe best thing you can do is call them. I know it takes a while to get through (go to the web site and LOG OUT. Use the phone number for new members to JOIN the club, and you won't have to wait on hold forever. --interesting how they do that). Anyways, the phone people are great at helping with anything you might need, and if one goes out of their way to help, ask if you can leave some positive feedback. I did so for "Kimberly" when I called to order, and both she and her supervisor were very appreciative.
I think we should all be quick to say "thank you" to people who go the extra mile for help.
Yeah, well, I'll get you the number aaron. Unfortunately, Silly Symphonies is unavailable.

Oh, and don't forget to use the free shipping code available on the website.

Thanks. I'll definitely use that code. When I try to order the Wave 1 titles, the website says the site isn't working, and the DMC phone lines are closed for the night, so the only way to order them now is to use the ISBNs over the phone's automated service. I could wait 'till morning, but I'm impatient!

Ok, first of all I tried to use the automated line, but it said I couldn't order them through the automated service. I had to talk to a person. Try:
(888) 257-9100.

The codes are as follows:
Mickey Mouse vol 1
2309403
Davy Crockett
2309203
Disneyland
2309303
(I suggest you check your local Wal-Mart for Disneyland, since you can find it for $5 less there.)
Finally, the free shipping code: 57615. (I owe a person on this forum a big shout-out for the code, but I can't remember the name. It's right down on the list though.)

It's great b/c I was able to use these treasures to fulfill my purchase agreement with the DMC. I ordered Treasures Wave 2 as a set and selected other ones that I wanted. Thus, I was able to get my hands on rare treasures for CHEAPER than online while still getting 3 dvds free. It makes the DMC seem reasonable even if you have to wait a while to get them.
Good luck.

Thanks! I guess I'll just have to wait, though, since I have to talk to someone.

Could someone post the ISBN's for Wave 2 please? Also I was wondering if you call them and join the club are you able to get the 3 free dvd's and such? Or is that only available on-line? I looked on the website and couldn't find any of the Disney Treasures.

Yeah, you can join over the phone and get your 3 free titles as well. Also, the Treasures are only sold to members, so they won't appear on the website until after you order your enrollment titles.

The Wave 2 ISBNS are:

Behind The Scenes: 2806903
Complete Goofy: 2584203
MMBW: 2584603

Complete Wave 2 set: 0006532

I joined the club this morning and called and ordered the three Treasures I wanted, but I forgot to ask if they came in the tins. Does anyone know? Thanks

Yes, they come in the numbered tins. Unfortunately, they don't always make it to their destination dent-free.

Hopefully they wont be dented to bad. None of mine are perfect, they all have some sort of dent somewhere. I'm just happy to be getting them without paying an arm and a leg.

I ordered the Wave 2 set and one of the Wave 1 titles today, leaving me in need of only 3 more Treasures tins. Here's hoping that they aren't dented too badly, but I don't care too much about the tins themselves. Like tink said, I'm glad to get them in their tins for a decent price from an actual retailer.

I joined yesterday and tried ordering today but she said I couldn't until I got my initial movies in. Whats up with that?

No way. I'd try calling and talking with a different cast member. I joined and called to order Treasures the very same day. In fact, I just got my Treasures order in and I haven't even received my introductory package of DVDs yet.

Same with me as with Aaron. I got Treasures wave 2 before I even received my three free dvds.
The only thing is you've gotta get your membership number. It should be available off of the website, or you mighta' asked the person over the phone while you were signing up.

Are these still available? There are a few tins I still don't have, and this would be the best way to get them (outside of Ebay).

Mickey Mouse in Living Color and Silly Symphonies are no longer available. The others are, though I'm not sure if the most recent wave has been added yet.
