Re: The Little Mermaid (Live-Action)
Trying to make fetch happen, I suppose. Waste of time. The most funny thing is how the fans are still thinking that the movie was a huge success only because Mattel is releasing new dolls. Of course the firsts dolls sold well but that's because some fans even bought like 6 units of each model plus ...

Re: The new Princesses being excluded from the lineup
Q: Your thoughts on Raya's inclusion in the Disney Princess lineup? Carlos Lopez Estrada : Greatest thing to happen to Disney since Mickey Mouse was created. Source : https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/1riylxv/comment/o8gct5l/ Not much people remember the character so I wouldn't think about t...

Re: The Little Mermaid (Live-Action)
I saw on X today that another Ariel doll is going to be released too. This time the face mold is the same as the old one but with a few changes. Disney is trying really hard to make LA Ariel relevant. Honestly I still can't understand why other princesses with more successful movies don't have the s...

It's a pity because it's a good show. In my opinion better than Aladdin in some points

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
What a shame for them to make such a flop. They had one of the most beloved movie of all time to take as reference and they couldn't make some justice to it. Honestly I don't know where it went all the budget because I re watched the film last week and it looks really bad.

Re: Moana (Live-Action)
With HTTYD they made a good job. The original one was good enough so it was hard to make something better and in my opinion they made justice to the animated movie. Moana is not as good in my opinion. The story is more simple and similar to the last Disney's films and the universe that they created ...

New show to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Disney On Ice in Japan https://www.ctv.co.jp/disneyonice/common/assets/images/pct-kv-pc.webp This week is the annual show in Spain and I have tickets for it. I'm not too happy about it because last few years the shows looked the same again and again so I...

Re: Tangled (Live-Action)
I want the inspired-by-but-very-creatively-different costume approach of Cinderella all the way baby! And never the Snow White way! Aladdin's costumes were all right but they are really forgettable. Jasmine wore some beautiful gowns but the color palette was not the one that you use to associate wi...

Re: The National Film Registry
At least it's one of the good PIXAR films. Still, laughable seeing any of them there before Aladdin, Alice, or Dalmatians. But I'm sure those three will make it in eventually, along with Frozen, Encanto, Zootopia, Lilo & Stitch, and TP&TF of the more recent films. And then Coraline and Para...

Disney's divinity maybe you saw her in lavender/pink in some merchandise from the time that the movie was released. They used to sell merchandise with alternated colors like this t-shirt https://media-photos.depop.com/b0/11634170/1053989132_21f4d0eeb71b43739934bc6bec6855ac/P0.jpg This year is the an...

Re: Hercules on Stage
I ordered the U.K. recording, but there's no date or anything yet as far as when it'll come. IDK, I would expect this film is as hard as TLM and others, depicting all the giant figures and battles successfully. They couldn't even get Ursula right (even aside from the part where she grows gigantic, ...

Re: Hercules on Stage
Interesting ... in so many ways the Disney library is bred for the stage musical, but at the same time, they tend to come with cumbersome parts that aren't easily adapted, especially around the climax. "The Little Mermaid" is probably the starkest example of that, but most of their stage ...

Re: Disney Princesses Got a Makeover
Everybody is complaining about this doll. She's ugly as hell and doesn't represent what Cinderella means, simplicity and elegance. Is ok that they want to create more luxury product but please, do it with a better taste because everybody knows that this doll is going to end on sale.

Re: What Disney toys did you have (or want) as a child?
My favorite toy when I was a child was my Bead so pretty Pocahontas. I remember the day when my parents bought it to me. I also always wanted the tiny collection toys but my parents didn't bought them to me because they said that I was going to loose all the pieces :P I remember having a catalogue t...

Re: Hercules on Stage
The story is all right but the second act is less emotive than in the animated movie. In what way? Meg's sacrifice for Hercules is less emotive. All the characters help Hercules to fight Hades and if I don't remember bad she is injured by an arrow or something like that, I don't remember it all rig...
