Hey to all of the Americans out there (this is geared to you), I recently moved to Canada, and I figured the Dvds would be the same here as they are in the US. So, I got my copy at Best Buy with a free cup and almost didn't make it over there. Today of all days they held a meeting at my part time job. Not sure why I have to go to those. I'm there like one day a week, ha. Anyway, I barely made it to Best Buy before closing and they literally only had 2 Pin...

does the blu-ray edition come with a slipcover?

also, why doesn't ultimatedisney review blu-ray editions? provide comparisons with the dvd edition and such...?

well what about currently released blu-ray, like enchanted and ratatouille?

i don't pay much attention to blu-ray shelves either, but i don't think i ever noticed slipcovers on them. but then again, i'm not sure, which is why i'm posting here.

so do disney blu-ray movies have slip-covers? more specifically the upcoming platinum editions such as sleeping beauty, pinnocio, etc. etc.

I've seen a lot of (now) rare slipcovers in the used bin covering used DVDs at stores that carry used DVDs. Perhaps that would be an option for those of you missing some slipcovers. Perhaps you could get them to sell you just the slip; or they may even just give it to you since they can sell the DV...

argh! i called again today and told a new lady that my slipcovers were damaged, but had thrown them out, like potterrules93 did, but she still wouldn't send any to me because she said that they have very limited quantities. i tried reasoning with her but no dice. if anyone can sweet talk a sales rep...

so i called disney to get some slipcovers i was missing and the lady, which was super apologetic, told me that they only issue slipcovers if yours is damaged. has anyone been able to get free slipcovers recently? did you just like and say your cover was damaged? if so, do you have to send them in? h...

but for future releases, like 101 dalmations, should we start petitioning disney for both ratios? beauty and the beast platinum had 3 different versions and lots of features, so it can be done. maybe they should start making platinum editions on 3 discs so we can have both ratios (when applicable) a...

so i was kind of dissapointed to see that the platinum edition of the jungle book is only vilable in 16x9. this is one of my fav disney movies, is it really that bad? i saw a screencap of the scene where mowgli was talking to the vultures stacked on each other and the head of the top vulture was cut...

is it worth buying this dvd now, considering that the extras are good but there is some fluff? it is obviously much better than the lion king, but should i hold out an extra couple of years for a re-issue with posssibly better material? or is this as good as it could get? when the re-issue eventuall...
