We are in 2016 and still no signs of an upcoming blu-ray with classic shorts. I give up.

I have seen that some shorts have been completely remastered (colours are more accurate, no flickering/scratches/dirt, sound is better) and with their original title cards. This is perfectly seen in Weihnachtsspass mit Donald blu-ray disc.

Well, the last two waves haven't been properly restored. Donald Duck Vol. 2 is an atrocity. I just purchased Pluto Vol. 2 and am disappointed by it too. And yes, you are right. Hi, have you noticed that cartoons in these tins are restored in some strange way? I mean the blue/violet/red tint tone in picture. It is quite unplesant to see violet ham, red tree trunk or blue leaves. The color correction was excellent before the fifth wave. What do you think of it?

Yes, some of the shorts on previous volumes looked ugly such as Grasshopper and the Ants and Mickey's Trailer but there were just a few of them but the situation on Chronological Donald is far worse because 75 percent of them are above-average. This is unacceptable.

I have a little question about last wave of WD Treasures from 2005. Will there be any replacement of my Chronological Donald 2 DVD? I feel bit cheated because the overall quality of Donald's shorts are not fully restored except the wartime cartoons. The colors are awful and background is too dark. I...
