I was sitting closer to the back and to the left. I don't think I saw you, we unfortunately left before Patton was done speaking because we had to be somewhere.

JV IS TIZ!!! PIXAR, I was of course at the same screening you were. As far as I understand, we might have been the first public audience to see the movie (?). Are you from Austin or another nearby town? (you don't have to answer that if you don't want to). "Patton said thanks for coming and tha...

I saw the movie tonight!! It was great! The audience was laughing and clapping the entire time (granted, everyone in the audience personally sought out tickets for this preview, so they were most likely all die-hard fans). **potential spoilers*** First, what I loved: The art design for this movie is...

"I think Pixar has usually gotten it right but just griping that they must have an agenda because most of their leads are male is silly." Just to be clear, I'm not suggesting that Pixar does have any type of male-power agenda. I would just think that if I had made 10 or 11 movies, at some ...

Does it bother anybody else that after Toy Story 3, Pixar will have made 11 films and not one of them has a female as the main character (yes, some of them have prominent female characters--Dorie, Jessie, etc--but they aren t THE main character)? And that synopsis of "Up" sounds REALLY wei...

Well Disney's HSM just came out in 2006, lawsuits take a lot of time, and the only reason Playbill got wind of this story is because of Cozby's NYC reading of his HSM. It seems to me like he wasted no time. In fact, i just did a little google searching, and you'll find a little bit of news coverage ...

Carter1971, you are exactly right in everything you said. And anyone familiar with Cozby's High School Musical will assure you that the similarities go beyond just the title and stock characters. There are a couple of very specific plot points that occur just the same way in both shows. Even if Disn...

Here's some pretty cool artwork: http://animationarchive.net/Deleted%20Animated%20Movies/Movies/Don%20Quixote/Model%20Sheets/index.php "I don’t think Don Quixote will get green lit as it would be an animated epic and that’s what Disney got in trouble for in the first place. I think they’ll be p...

Disney's Don Quixote??

Jim Hill had an interesting article today that mentioned that Don Quixote was in the works as an animated feature for Disney in the 90s. http://jimhillmedia.com/blogs/jim_hill/archive/2007/02/23/an-extra-beauty-iful-edition-of-why-for.aspx If The Frog Princess is successful in bringing back 2D anima...

As far as I know, you do everything just the same and get the same benefits...the only difference is that, by accepting my referral, I receive one free dvd (and once you sign up, you will also receive a free dvd for every person you can get to sign up). It's a pyramid scheme, but if you know someone...

I'm not exactly sure - I'm sure there is a way to send in checks. Call 1-800-362-4587 (the help line) between 9am-9pm, Mon - Fri, and they can surely tell you exactly what you need to know.

If you are just about to start a membership, will you accept my referal so that I can get another free movie??

How often do they have a "Free Shipping" deal?

I'm ready to buy all 4 of my movies, but I wanted to wait until it's free shipping again. Anyone know when that might be??

Can multiple copies of the same movie count towards your 4?

Since we have to buy four movies from them, could I buy 4 copies of, say, the Little Mermaid (once it's available) all at once instead of four different movies?
