Re: Alice, Did you see the WDCC sculptures in TJ Maxx recently? I know they had them a few months ago. If the one near you still has a Humphrey please let me know. If any of you are interested in the Dug and Russell Bobbleheads, you may want to act fast. These were produced as mail-aways for Smart B...

But if you bought them before they were added to the list, or of course before the DMR program even started, then no. Otherwise everyone here would have tons of DVDs to retroactively claim! :) Which, in all fairness, we should be able to do. Right now there's a much larger pool of great Disney film...

Thanks DF, that certainly was a good start, unfortunately some of the comparisons were a bit vague, but a good gist.

Old DVD Features vs. New Blu-Ray Features

Hi everyone, I sincerely apologize if there is an existing thread or page on this topic, I scoured and couldn't find anything. What I want to know is, are all the special features on my old Disney DVD's being ported over to the newly released Blu-Rays? I know in the case of movies like Ratatouille a...

Hey Marianne, This will be my 4th SDCC (San Diego Comic Con), and my second as a photographer for www.toymania.com First, here's some very basic advice: 1. Wear comforatable shoes, this cannot be stressed enough, you'll be doing a lot of walking. The convention center is enormous, and there's a whol...

I know 2 people who currently work at Disneyland, one is a costume character chaperone, and her husband does design and detail upkeep on attractions and shows (one step below an imagineer). They both adore their jobs, and wouldn't have it any other way. I also know someone who just last year QUIT hi...

I'm in Northern California, the S.F. Bay Area to be exact, and as I said before my 7-8 local Walmarts have always had both WS and FS. I've read similar reports before that they only carried FS, but it's never been that way here.

That's really strange.... Every Walmart in my area has always had both fullscreen and widescreen DVD's, for both new and old releases.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS I've got a good feeling that Ballzo and Loomis are right with their predictions, Lizard will likely be the next Spidey movie Villian, possibly a team up of him and Green Goblin/Hobgoblin (hoping they find a way to write in the latter). I was even thinking a possible Sinister Six sc...

Geez, you guys really are a bunch a youngins huh!? ;P Of all the shows on that list, Hey Dude is the oldest (in terms of when it first aired on Nick), and it really is a fantastic show, and most certainly Old School Nick. Although all 3 are very good I miss watching Hey Dude the most. I see most peo...

it confirmed that they're making changes or is this speculation? I wouldn't understand at all No no no, I've never even read or heard a comment from Disney concerning this particular sequence. It's not even really speculation. I've heard complaints before, and also read complaints that certain orgi...

You know, I'm not happy with the portrayal of Slim in A Bug's Life. You know, he's a typical presentation of a nurotic, thin and gangly white-guy geek. He is so like many of my caucasian friends. It's all swings and roundabouts. I agree with your sarcasm 2099, it really shouldn't be too big a deal....

You know, I'm not too worried about the Priest thing, it's not important to the movie so changing it really wouldn't affect anything. I'm more worried about "The Blackfish" in the Under The Sea segment. My understanding is that some groups are not all that happy with that particular stereo...

U.S. Disney DVD's do have a buena vista logo, it's just not a hologram. It's usually a small color print that's typically white on animation dvd's, but may be blue or red. When I list Disney DVD's on ebay that are still in the shrink, I always take a pic of the BVHV logo for authenticity reasons. If...

I got the 50% off email yesterday. The only condition is that I need to order Lion King 1 1/2, the email says nothing of a promotional code. I went to the site to test the shopping cart, and the 50% off was applied to all the titles as long as I had LK 1 1/2 in the cart.
