Re: Zootopia 2

Saw it yesterday in theatres. I had a good time with this one! :) Nick and Judys relationship was interesting, especially with their feud about their different views on acting for justice, where both had solid reasonable points. The New Supporting characters were ok to forgettable, like Gary. Hes ju...

Re: Untitled WDAS Film (2028)

Has Disney learned nothing from the reception of Wish? Audiences rejected non-photorealistic rendering for Disney films. Did the article really mention a non realistic render style similar to Fish? Im genuinely asking as i cant access half of the article as im not subscribed to NYT. If so, mehhh, b...

Re: Hexed

Next fall, Disney Animation will release “Hexed,” an original film about an awkward teenager who discovers that he’s a wizard. “He’s pulled into a world of magic and realizes, oh, these are his people,” Mr. Bush said. “Spoiler,” he added. “Mom, who’s also trying to figure herself out, is tied to hi...

Re: Which Black Sheep among the Disney Canon is your favorite?

So i assume you mainly included the movies that mostly bombed critically not commercially, as most of their "flops" rightfully became beloved sleeper hits! :) Its so hard to decide tbh. I really love Brother Bear, Pocahontas and Black Cauldron out of these, almost equally. Black Cauldron h...

Re: Mulan Discussion

I feel like after Ariel and the soccer moms pushing back on her being a "bad role model," Disney became a little more timid with how flawed their heroines were allowed to be. Like, they can still be clumsy or maybe have self-confidence issues, but they're not allowed to make any mistakes....

Oh interesting! I mean her and Kristens Voice are really similar but Goodwin sounds a bit more dry for an energetic Anna. Glad her path worked out tho :)

nd I'm not sure why you would be making it into a competition of "favs" at all since Sabrina Carpenter is only being discussed in relation to her possible inclusion in the Tangled film... because that's the actual topic of this thread? ...Then why commenting on her new album in the first ...

• Rapunzel is in the same pose as the maiden in Fragonard's painting The Swing Big YES for Rapunzel Unbraideds impact! Gone but not forgotten. I don't like Jasmine and Ariel's made up outfits in the mural, and proportions look off on a lot of the princesses but I do still like the mural ove...

Videos games were just one of many options for kids when 90's consoles were around. toys were still king I think. Compare it to today when everyone has a super computer in their pocket, usually some kind of other portable gaming device, like a switch, and maybe a traditional console and/or pc. We a...

Marc Smith is no longer the co-director on the film. Trent Correy is. I still don't understand why Chris Buck isn't co-directing this one. Dissapointing and a mess. Especially since Smith was the one pitching and basically birthing the whole idea of the 3rd/4th installment. Not that excited either ...

I was finally reading Ashmans full original 1988 treatment for his Aladdin and wow. Of course i knew of some overall differences like the "making his mom proud" storyline or that jasmine was a spoiled brat, but it was definetly different than i though! I didn't expect the crush Aladdin had...
