cool!

Now that's how they should treat their classics worldwide. This is so much better than the overall butt-ugly colors and off-model character covers we usually get. If anybody thinks that this appeals less to a kidseye then the regular covers he's not doing his job right. When I had something like thi...

Really? I never knew about that. Well, I don't think we have that problem here in the Netherlands, but I do think they replace their Dutch dubs by newer versions, especially the older films, but I'm not sure though.

Personally I don't think the new artwork is that bad. The Aladdin one is very very similar to the original tape cover. I also like the look of the new Lion King cover as opposed to the VHS. But what it really comes down to is the movie INSIDE the case Right you are, but still, if a great movie is p...

Since I live in the Netherlands, it was easier for me to visit Disneyland Paris than to go to WDW. I've been to Paris 7 times now since the park opened and I loved every visit. The attention to detail and atmosphere is great. Last year, after hearing and reading so many positive things about it, I v...

Question on DVD covers in general.

What I've been wondering for a long time, why does Disney "design" new covers for their DVD releases all the time, while they already have these great posters from their release in cinemas? I'd take the original posters for any Disney classic over the crappy stuff they use for their DVD's ...

You're yealous of Europeans? Man, we still don't have Ducktales here on DVD, will probably never get it either and almost every release here get's stripped of the good stuff. This is the first time in disney history we get something extra... Why we get this is still not clear to me though.

Let's hope we'll get it in Holland. If I buy it, I'd like it if the Dutch voices were on the disk too. Thanks for the link to that other forum, never been there before. Cool avatar by the way. Planning on seeing it?

Timon and Pumbaa's "Stand By Me" cover song...

I remember I bought a video years ago with some cartoons of Timon and Pumba. On that tape there was a musicvideo for a cover of Timon and Pumba from the song "stand by me". I was pretty funny and the animation looked very good too. Better than the tv-cartoonstuff anyway. Does anybody know ...

Siren: that's a cool collection of drawings! I saw that movie once, I loved the artwork (wasn't Don Bluth involved with the characters?), I didn't like the story that much unfortunately. Could also be because I saw it in the Dutch version, wich was very childishly done. Sometimes you can get a nice ...

Original Disney animation artwork.

Hi everyone, new guy on the boards here. I was wondering who here owns original Disney art (cells, drawings, anything)? I own a great cell from Don Bluths "Secret of NIMH" (no Disney, but great nonetheless), where you see Nicodemus' hands holding the red amulet, reflecting his face. I also...
