They can't. In fact, a lot of live action movies they do, really garder very little interest from the general public. DCOMs are only for a specific demograph, which is 17 and under. If they ever did try to do something that would appeal to all ages, it would have to be a lot more respectful to the i...

Their pretty bad
Most of them are pretty bad.
You should check out some of the music videos made by fans.
They post them on youtube.com
I've created quite a few, and just completed a new Mickey Video entitled of all things "Hey Mickey!"
The fans are creating better stuff than the company!

That's exactly the reason I'm going to film school once I've finished college. I'm going to get my contacts, contracts, and agents in order first. I'm even going to become a member of the screen writers guild before I even submit my first script for review. I mean, people can do this, its only that ...

Just to let everyone know
Just to let everyone know, I'm penning a script that will eventually make it to the Disney head office. Its something so profound that it will require traditional animation to be used. I won't say what that this project entails, but it goes to the heart of the Disney enterprise.

Lars Vermundsberget What I was pointing out is that the company is not as creative as it should because of the image that Walt protrayed himself as. He himself even admitted on more than one occasion that the saint like image also put limits on what he could do with the films that he made. Its the ...

Here's an interesting fact to consider
Wonderlicious The number one for me is simple; trying to be the company with a perfect image. Disney has had an obsession with looking practically perfect. That's one of the reasons why I think they get slammed a lot; their desire for an unoffending image and brand (like Loomis, I think that Disney...

My view
After seeing the film, all I can say is, I guess I shouldn't be suprised. Seems like as a people we've been reduced to watching too many movies, and televison. While the real problems of this world, just go on, unsolved. Someone 2000 years ago, said to us, that if we don't learn how to forgive or le...

Silent Hill
I haven't played through the games yet, but as I've come to understand there are three levels of reality when it comes to Silent hill. Check out the write up at Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silent_Hill Throughout the series, it becomes clearer that there may be three levels of reality in ...

Yes and No
Yes, some of these films will have some following 20 years down the line. But we all have to agree that its become so easy to produce content these days that they will be lost in the shuffle. I mean made for tv films don't have as much press as would a theatrical feature would. It will be interestin...

Yeah they do that!
Most people who are disney fans, don't know this. But Walt Disney himself created the seven dwarfs. In the original Snow White story, Snow white encounters four men instead of seven dwarfs. The dwarfs themselves we're just another marketing idea that Walt and his team created for the enjoyment of th...

Yes, I'm well aware of Balto being Universal. It just that the footage fits the song perfectly. In fact a lot of fans mix Disney clips with live action and even anime clips to music videos. I actually bought a lot of software to make videos which are that good. Some of the other fans just stick a vi...

The term "classic"
You should all realize that the term "classic" is just another way of promoting a film, animated or otherwise. Most movies don't leave much of an impression, or are long remembered by the public. Ever since the advent of the VCR, Disney has used the term "classic" with virtualy e...

Who here watches Adult Swim?
Well, since Disney isn't doing anything for our demograph these days, how many of you watch Adult Swim on Cartoon Network? My favorite shows are: 1. The Boondocks 2. Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law 3. Moreil Oriel - Finding God in everyday life. 4. Robot Chicken - They recently showed a clip of Walt...
