The Disney Channel and ZooG Disney Logos and partnership
Why did Disney Channel change their logo and Get ride of ZooG Disney? Why won't some one get ride of the 50 episode limit? Or is it three seasons limit? Whats the Deal with taking off So Weird and Jett Jackson and not making more episodes for them? I hate this Magmitude thing. It is dumb.

I would say (imo) that the kids who watch disney channel today wouldnt know the shows like jett jackson or so weird, or honey I shrunk the kids series. Those shows were from a diff time, even if it was 5 years ago- maybe kids who watched 5 years ago dont watch disney channel anymore. Maybe they are watching shows that would suit them for their age difference, like mtv or something. I dunno.
The kids who watch disney channel today know the shows that are on today: lizzie, raven, even stevens, suite life, am. dragon, L&S, Kim possible ect. but i dont think they could tell you who jett jackson.
These shows are obviously what kids today want to see on Disney channel.
Once in a while they show Jett Jackson movie- but thats about it.
You used to be able to type in zoogdisney.com & it would lead u to disney channel-but i am not sure if that still works. I barely remember the zoogs myself.
The one show I DO miss that is not on anymore is Imagineer That! w/ Tom 2.0 -he was cool, & used to live at Innovations @ Epcot-but i am not sure if he is there anymore.
I like the shows they have on now tho otherwise.

So why the big change?
Why did they not just keep it? It soulds to me that Nickelodeon listions to us better then Disney Channel. Oh one other thig to point out. What happend to Actress and Movie Surfer Laurn Malbty go? Why is she gone? with the succuese of Zenon and Holloweentown and other Original movies, why don't they make a TV show version of them and put Kirsten Storms in more shows or even her own show like raven.

Re: So why the big change?
In my opinion some of the actors and actresses on the Disney Channel probably dont wanna be known as a Disney star all thier lives. If they really want to be actors, they go on to better things that can test their acting abilties. Like Kirsten Storms, she moved on to a Days of Our Lives and then she was suppose to be doing a show of her own on a network station (not sure if it ever happened or if it still will.) You dont get Oscars for being on a Disney Channel orignal movie.DisneyHollywood wrote:Why did they not just keep it? It soulds to me that Nickelodeon listions to us better then Disney Channel. Anyways back to the original topic, Disney probably just wants to switch things up every now and then so that things dont get old. It maybe expensive to run the shows longer, maybe actors want more money or don't want to stay on the show that long, who knows.
By the way, I have nothing against the Disney Channel. I do miss their old shows, but eventually all shows end and my life must go on.

Kirsten storms rocks
Well, Kirsten Storms lefted Day's of Our Lives and I have no idea what she is doing now. I want to know. Disney Channel Stars do get reconized and not as much as others, thow they do. They get to go on award shows and they do get some awards for shows or original movies. She could make more money and for the company if she and others had their own show or another movie. I stopes watching Days of Our Lives when she lefted. Why did she leave?

She has not done Club house latly. General Hospital, really? Thats on ABC. Wow, thats one of the most popular soaps on ABC. That web site is good, And I go there all the time, thow It has not told me what I want to know lately. It has not said everrthing and not been updated yet. What person does she play on General Hospital? Is it good? Do you watch it? IS it as good or better then who she played on "Days"? How long has she been on that show ? When did she start?

DisneyHollywood, no offense, but what is it with you and these slightly boring threads? I mean "Hilary Duff vs. Lindsay Lohan." Wow...so fascinating

"Clubhouse" was on CBS and it was a huge flop. Though my parents watched it...cydney wrote:She left to do a<a onMouseOver="window.status='' ; return true;" onMouseOut="window.status='';" oncontextmenu="window.status=''; return true;" onclick="location.href='http://www.enhancemysearch.com/admin/re ... 21';return false;" href="" TITLE="More Info..."> TV </a>series "Clubhouse" and it looks like shes on General Hospital now. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0832653/

I remember the old Zoog Disney too. Where the looked like zoogs if zoogs were real. Good fun traditional 2D animation of computer zoogs that were fun and quirky. Then they suddenly changed! They became 3D and clickish! Dotcom was the popular girl Joe Zoog was the cool guy and the one girl became the geek and they got rid of the twin zoogs. I liked the old Zoogs and the old Zoog games on disneychannel.com.Fee-Hee-Hee-Eny wrote:I remember Zoog Disney! Didn't they all start out like boring and simple, and then they went away for a couple of months and then came back like all "high-tech"? I prefer it much more to the "Magnitude". Although, learning Spanish fromt he Chili was cool...
When I was a kid, I remember Disne CHannel had all this modern programming and would occasionally show a classic cartoon or those cool DTV music videos. We taped off of the Disney channel the WWOD version of Freaky Friday (Shelley Long and Gaby Hoffman) and afterward they aired Mickey and the Beanstalk. Now Disney Channel is all new stuff that just happens to be made by Disney.
Oh yeah, and that Magnet-tude reminds me of Zoog Disney in a way with the very different characters. Though it is rather silly that they're talking magnets. Why not let classic Disney characters host the commerciala breaks? They don't make House of Mouse anymore, so why not use the animators and actors to make the inbetween parts of the Disney Channel. It would be quite an improvement and actually be Disney.
Okay, getting off topic. Stopping now.

I hate Magmatude.
First off, I hate Magnutude, it is so dumb, and another, the stars of Disney Channel don't care if they are stars of Disney. They love it and they get more popular and they get more famous and more money for Disney Channel. So why do you agree? And that other commit that the other person made about the stars is to some point wrong. The last person that posted, was rigt, It would be a good Idea if we had other disney Characters do the in between's in stead of The dumb magitude.
y
I hate Disney World. It is not real Disney, well not any more. Disney magic is not there. They are fake and lie. They don't care about the gust or Walt's Vision or other Cast Members. They only care about money and them selfs. It needs to change or be shut down. Put out of their missery. Disneyland in California is so much way better. Disney World, don't wast your time. You will hate it and be disapoited.

I've watched Disney Channel all my life pretty much. So Weird was my favorite show made by Disney Channel, and The Torkelsons was my favorite show they ever played. Anyways, as a long term viewer, there used to be a pattern. Shows would be on for 2 or 3 years, and then would slowly be pulled to make room for new shows. When those new shows had ran past their popularity, they would bring back old shows to fill their spot until they had a new one to take it's place. I think that the reason for the 65 episode limit is that a.) there aren't enough fresh ideas beyond that number and b.) kids grow in and out of things so quickly. Look at Pokemon. Anyways, I desperatley wish Disney would either bring back So Weird and Torkelsons, or bring them out on DVD. As well as other shows in their extensive library. I really hope that one of these halloween's, they will bring back So Weird for a marathon like they did with the new MMC, and that it will spark so much interest that it is re-run or brought to DVD.

Oh my gosh, you're not a minor??? I thought you were. That would give you an actual excuse for your lousy grammar and spelling.DisneyHollywood wrote:I can prove that Disney World is Lame. The real Disneyland Park. Not the fake, dreamless, selfless, self-centered and copycat Disneyland wanna-be and never-will-be park.
Also, Disney World is not called a Disneyland Park. It's called a
Disney park. And how can one of Walt's dreams copy one of Walt's other dreams? That really doesn't make sense.

I second that Chaychay. You should check her profile, her occupation is : "Fashion Desigener/ActorAnimator for Disney. I do some music."
Not only did she work at Disney World, but she is a fashion designer, actor AND animator for Disney.
And millions of people LOVE Disney World. Myself included
