Blossom

Post by Blossombabe »

I thought that Disney would have released at least the first few seasons of Blossom on DVD by now. There is a huge demand for the show in the UK in particular as it hasn't been on terrestrial television in over ten years and is not currently aired on any channels on SKY or Cable.

I hope that if they ever do released DVD box sets, these will include deleted/extended scenes, bloopers, gallery and commentary.

It was an OK series, but I doubt I'd never buy it. There's so much other shows to purchase before this one. It was so straigt to teenpeople and so 90's  . But would be very nice to see it aired again!

Oh yeah! I remember in Australia when it played in a great lineup (I think on a Friday or Saturday night), along with "Full House", "Step By Step" and "Family Matters".

It also played in a lineup with "Golden Girls" and "Hangin' with Mr Cooper" if memory serves me.

I'd be delighted if "Blossom" was released on DVD.

Disney TV series..."BLOSSOM" on DVD

Post by disneyfella »

SHOUT! Factory has released the first two seasons of the Disney produced television series (I think it might have been under the Touchstone Television banner) "Blossom". Check it out:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

This set not only has newly produced retrospective features, but it also has the EXTREMELY ultra rare pilot film (which I think might have some different cast and stuff).

Anyway, I didn't see it anywhere else, so I thought I'd post it. Does anyone else remember this show? Is anyone else hoping that this release is successful enough to finally see the release of "Brotherly Love", "So Weird" or even "The 100 Lives of Black Jack Savage"?

So Weird? OH YEAAAAAH! That's my favorite Disney Channel series EVER! lol. I'm calming down now.

While I am excited that Disney is letting other studios release their old content that they refuse to distribute and that SHOUT! has been awesome enough to actually produce bonus content for it, Blossom was slightly before my time and I never got into it in reruns. I would probably pick up Brotherly Love if that ever gets a release, though.

I'm hoping beyond hope that Disney lets somebody distribute both seasons of The Torkelsons, hopefully in one set so that if the first season doesn't sell well, they can't axe it and not sell me the rest. he he he.
