Is this the new French 2 DVD Brother Bear?
http://www.priceminister.com/offer/buy/ ... one-2.html
My French isn't exactly great and due to the lack of picture I'm even more confused, but all the other Brother Bear DVDs on the site are the previous editions, so by a process of elimination I would guess this should be the 2 disc!
Also some sites, (not this one) are listing the new French 2 disc as 1:85:1. Is this a typo or have they disappointed us by not releasing the full 2:35:1 version again?

It is available in France:
http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0006A9MGC/qid=1107032447/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2_2/171-2202661-2397063
And I think it has an extra bonus feature that R1 doesn't have, although don't wuote me on that!

No it does not really look odd! I don't really care about the packaging being in French, the content is much more important! And no the only places where you can find Brother Bear saying 'Brother Bear' in English is the UK, US and Australia.*Andy* wrote:But does it not look odd in your collection saying Brother Bear in french?
Is there nowhere that has it with that cover but with it saying Brother Bear?

Same as UK. The cover from the US is slightly different (just the logo).*Andy* wrote:Ok thanks Ichabod.
So i take it Holland had the same cover as the US n UK?
The Disney Database - All the Disney magic in 1 site!
Yea, the U.S. has a 2-disc set of Brother Bear (and only a 2-disc set--there was no standard edition released).RJKD23 wrote:I think the US has the 2-Disc edition of Brother Bear...*Andy* wrote:Does anyone know if the UK/US are getting a 2 disc edition soon?
At least mine is 2-Disc.It looks like this..
NO SLIPCOVER though!
And again, yep, no slipcover.
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.
I don't think that the U.S. Disney has a Classics title for their DVDs like the UK does. We had the Gold Collection (blegh) and whatnot, though. It's always "Walt Disney Pictures Presents" or for the titles Walt was involved in--"Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," for example.
The UK also lacks the Platinum Edition title (they just call them "Special Editions") that the U.S. has but I don't think that release types are terribly important (though it's almost funny when they just let release lines die out
) and apparently, neither does Disney.
