home on the range has been rated PG (for brief mild rude humor) according to comingsoon.net :)

I think it's going to be just as funny as "The Emperor's New Groove"!

I look forward to it more than Brother Bear. I'm sure "Bear" is good, but the trailers don't make it look very entertaining. Same thing with Treasure Planet, it was great, but the trailers made it look dull.

I have heard absolutely nothing about Home on the Range other than it's a Disney movie. Is it live-action or animated? When's it being released?

Goes for me, too...although the title to me seems like a Live-Action title for some odd reason.

Cool, thanks! If it were a live-action film I wouldn't be seeing it because I don't really like westerns or "Texan movies" (even though I'm a Texan) but as an animated film it looks pretty good. I'm not sure how the whole "musical cows" thing will turn out though, lol.

And indianajdp the name sounded like a live-action movie to me too. I'm glad to see that it's animated.

I agree - it seems as though it will be very much in this vein of humour and thus right up my alley.

The fact that it has cows is enough for me, but I think it looks like a lot of fun.

I think as nice as the sweeping epics are, they can be sooooooo boring. Borther Bear, for example, don't have half the appeal that Home on the Range does for me...

Well, I am going to be sure to go see both of them. Disney is most likely going to judge their performance on whether or not to keep doing hand drawn animation.

Well, since Alan Menken is doing the music and I am a big fan of his work (Mermaid, beast, and Aladdin), I will probablt see, this, but I can't gauruntee it will be in the theatres, it depends on what else is playing at the time... Brother Bear is another iffy one for me. I hope when I do see thses that they are great, or atleast good, and I hope they do well in theatres... Who knows, I might just go in my effort to see traditional animation survive...

If it doesn't, atleast there will be one movement to bring it back.

Wow, was I completely out-of-the-loop on this one. And I thought I had coonections :(

Anyway, this does sound like an interesting animated () film. Have to admit I love the fact that Randy Quaid's a part of the cast...and Cuba's getting to be a Disney regular.

So we're looking at Q4, 2004?

I think HOTR looks really good. Alan Menken can do no wrong with me so I'm looking foward to the songs. I also think the storyline sounds quite strong as well.

Somehow i'm not to appeal to watch HOTR since i havent seen any good humor in it yet. Somehow i think the mooses in Brother Bear are funny but i'm not sure how long they will be in the movie. Somehow i wish Disney would make more G-rated comedy movies like the Emperor's New Groove. That was a good movie :)

I"m really not looking forward to this movie. I'd rather see Brother Bear.

This movie is a year away and it has a rating already?

This movie was originally rated PG-13, Disney was begging for them to bring it down

I don't think one of Disney's full-length animated classics should be allowed to be PG-13.
