If you could only pick one... (DVD)

Post by Prince Phillip »

If for some reason you could only pick one DVD to but this fall/holiday season (Sept. 1 - Dec. 31) what would it be...
(I guess since this is the forum about disney stuff, choose from disney dvd's being released... SB, TLK, WDT: MMILC2...)

When I read the first line my first thought was that I couldn't do it. I couldn't just choose one. But then you said that it was just out of Disney Dvds so I'm gonna say Pirates of the Caribbean followed closely by The Lion King.

Just out of Disney, it'd have to be "Disney on the Frontlines." Which is a lie. I'd never be able to just pick one WDT.
And that'd probably be my overall choice, too.

My favorite Disney movie - The Lion King. If I were to choose one non-Disney DVD too, it'd probably be the Saved By The Bell boxset. :D

I'm dead serious...I can't. No way. There are way too many great releases for me to only pick one. I know the question is a hypothetical one and all, but I can't bring myself to pick only one over all the others.

I'm weak I tell you...WEAK.

Well, for me, I almost sais one of the treasures sets scince the anticipation for these is killing me! Donald and Mickey!!! and frontlines, but then I had to assess "why is the anticipation killing me?" Well, the answer is because I have to wait the longest for those, and I really really want to see them... but then it hit me, they don't come out till December... therefore if I bought Sleeping Beauty, I could enjoy that until the next year, Jan. 1 2004, and buy the treasures then, as they would most likely still be available at certain places...

But then I run into the problem of the SE releases scheduled for that month... :( Well, maybe by that point I'll have a job or something and can buy them all!!!!!

I'll have to agree with Indiana, it's way too tough to pick just one.
What would this wretched world be like without Disney?

OK---

if you could only buy ONE at a time and say hypothetically they all came out on the same day, and you didn't go through the line at the store more than once and didn't go to any other store that day (this is getting long winded)...

which would you buy FIRST???

CHOOSE CAREFULLY, because the next day you are going along with your DVD player and a TV (with no disney channel or other channels for that matter) on a three hour tour...and the weather is starting to get rough, and the tiny ship that you are on is getting tossed, and YOU ARE ALL ALONE. This DVD you chose out of the releases coming up is the one you are going to have to live with for a while (or until Gilligan decides to visit the place he was shipwrecked on).

Which new release coming up would you take?

I would probably pick Lion King, simply b/c it has all those extras to keep me happy on the stranded island.

mmmm....Nope. Can't do it.
I'd have friends and family go in with me and they would all buy the discs I couldn't get in the same trip.

I'm telling ya, I'm weak when it comes to this stuff.

WHOOOOOO POCO!!! I like that take charge to the point attitude!!!

URGGGG!!! with that said though, no chance of a January purchase I don't know!!! This would be the only thing I'd have to watch, indefinately!

The treasures sets seem the best choice as there are multiple cartoons to watch, but I think I might still have to go with Sleeping Beauty.

Oh, and I think I've said this before, but I really like your Avatar Cinderelly, it is soo nice and looks really pretty :)

Sleeping Beauty! I have NOT seen this film in the longest time...it's my second favorite fairy tale (first being Beauty and the Beast) of the Disney fairy tale movies.
