Lion King versions

Post by Mr. Pumpkinhead »

I was wondering if the only way of switching from Special Edition to Theatrical Edition is going through the sound setup? There doesn't seem to be a choice but to watch the special edition once you hit play.

I read the review and I couldn't seem to find anything on that, but I could have looked over it.

I do miss the blue Disney logo, but I'm just happy to have the film in my collection either way.

hi!
all the eight or nine times I have seen it, it seems the only way(besides the "alternative angle" button on the DVD's remote)

An old thread on this topic just resurfaced:

Setup menu is the only place you can make your selection. How uncool that the default mode includes that new "Morning Report" number. I'm sure that most don't even realize that there are 'two ways' to view the movie.

Tho i haven't tried this method, I was thinking, couldn't you write down the Title/chapter number of the beginning of the fauxTheatrical and then select it any time you wanted from the remote? (Don't have Lion King thingie to try it on)

It uses branching, so I'm not sure if that would work. It might!
