Its going to. I can feel it in my bones, just watching the trailers and the promotion for it. It doesnt have the vibe of a hit at all.

I don’t agree with that sentiment, not when Disney is pulling out all the stops for its marketing by putting tickets on sale for it on Monday to tie into the #Disney100 celebration so that they can do their best to heavily market it for the next 35-40 days.

I wouldn’t pay much attention to this article. It’s clearly biased and ignorant of some facts.

It forgets, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 and Elemental legged out at the box office to become huge or sleeper hits. And it forgets people in the US are still subbing to Disney+ again.

They’ll turn out for movies if they’re good and are entertaining (which may be the case for one or two films in 2024 like Deadpool 3).

If I’m reading the article correctly, it says about half of Trump voters think Disney movies have gotten worse. That’s not half of the country? Presumably the other half of Trump voters think Disney movies have stayed the same, or gotten better? Or maybe have no opinion?

Even if that's the case, that's still a sizable percentage of potential consumers. Do you think there's anything Disney could do at this point to win them back or is it a lost cause? Maybe Disney just needs to lower their threshold of financial success from now on. It doesn't help that liberals also seem disenchanted by Disney lately.
