GWW has obtained new information that indicates a ‘Secret Warriors‘ project is in early development at Marvel Studios. We have no other info other than Marvel is currently looking for a writer. It is unclear at this time if it will be a series for Disney+ or a theatrical film, but this seems like the perfect project for D+. As expected, Kevin Feige is set to produce.
‘Secret Warriors‘ was originally an underground team consisting of Nick Fury, Quake (Daisy Johnson), Phobos, Yo Yo Rodriguez, Hellfire (J.T. Slade), Sebastian Druid, and Stonewall (Jerry Sledge). The team has only gotten 2 comic runs based off the same name, one in 2009 and another in 2017, and has since been adapted in previous Marvel media.
