Ciara Renée and McKenzie Kurtz are Broadway's new Elsa and Anna starting performances February 18th (last performance of Caissie and Patti is 16th).
I've not seen McKenzie in anything but loved Ciara in Hunchback. Would love to see her in this.

Re: Frozen: The Broadway Musical
I got a feeling people will flip their lids when they learn that the next Elsa isn’t going to be white.
I just hope they at least have somebody to play young Elsa to match Ciara’s ethnicity. Okay, I know ethnicity has nothing to do with talent, but I’ve heard folks complain about some major productions of Les Miserables and how sometimes, the actors playing young Colette and Eponine don’t match up with their older counterparts.
But that aside, I look forward to seeing/hearing Ciara in the role of Elsa.

I loved Ciara as Esmeralda so that's really neat that Disney brought her back in a leading role! Really happy to hear this.

I think Samantha is the only name they've announced so far. Honestly, very excited to see her in the role.
Got tickets for the start of November, looking forward to finally seeing the show for myself.

Very special guest and self-proclaimed "Frozenhead" Jenny Nicholson joins Lindsay and Kaveh to discuss the incredibly mediocre stage version of Disney's "Frozen." Kaveh does not know how to pronounce "Anna," and no one knows how to pronounce "Kaveh."

I thought it was alright... Not as good as FtFTiF (reprise) though. For some reason, Anna's new actress looked a bit like Jodi Benson to me. Maybe it's just because of the hair color and the purple-ish eye makeup.

^ I really like the new song! So it's replacing FtFTiF (reprise)?! I guess the beauty of the stage shows is they can do things like that, but the original is a classic.

Re: Frozen: The Broadway Musical
Sorry for that outburst. I just thought it blasphemous to call the show mediocre when I personally thought it was anything but.
Also, I kind of find it more blasphemous of them to cut out “True Love” entirely because that shows character development in Anna through song. Replacing “For the First Time in Forever (Reprise)” was also a mistake imo.

New poster. It will be replacing the old one in every current and future production of the show.

Cool! Are you seeing Mary Poppins instead of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella, or are you seeing both?

I will see Mary Poppins and Hello Dolly! Cinderella was also too late into the year.
My parents are cutting their birthdays November so i will travel somewhere with my family than instead.
i might see Frozen( in West End)at a later date if money and time aren't issues.
