My TLK + TLM books came yesterday. I definitely recommend them. So much concept art (I didn't compare it to the TLK art book for duplicates yet though), and there is a lot of information, both full-page and trivia bubbles throughout.

Now it`s April and there still haven`t been any announcements about the museum exhibition of The Jungle Book.

Well, to give my own personal opinion about the Mermaid book: I liked it, despite that I wished that it was longer. While this is the closest to an Art/Making of-book that we`re going to get now (regardless of the countless times I`ve ranted about it), it`s still informative and a must-have for every Mermaid fan. I liked some new information that we learned about it and the overall atwork of the book.

I purchased the Lion King and Little Mermaid script books, but the Lion King's came damaged. It didn't happen during shipping, looks like it was a warehouse damage/lack of quality control. I asked for a replacement and got it, so now I have two. I was going to try and iron out the messed up/ripped pages and back cover and donate the book to a library, but I thought of asking here first if anyone wanted it, free of charge. If anyone's interested, please write here or PM me.

I'm disappointed in the Twisted Tale cover for Almost There. I thought they would've had Facilier as the main figure... I mean, I understand why the Blue Fairy is the main figure for the Pinocchio one and even kind of understand why the Beast is for the B&tB one, but I would've thought Gothel and Facilier would be the center of the Tangled and TP&TF ones.

Definitely getting the Jodi Benson autobiography eventually. Thanks for posting!

I somehow made it into two panels where Jodi Benson showed up, and she talked about her book in one of them. She says that it's not quite an autobiography or memoir, but a collection of stories about the people who have shaped her life and career. There's a chapter on Howard Ashman as well as at least one more about Disney, along with her husband and other people from her life. It sounds nice!

Has anyone heard anything about the Disney afternoon making of a television Renaissance Book? As stated above here, it was supposed to finally release on October 4, but it doesn’t appear to have actually done so as it’s Shown as not available on Amazon, and there it’s stated as having been released on September 21, 2021? Also the Disney wiki page on it doesn’t seem to have it on there anymore and doesn’t List it In the 2022 or any other year beyond page? Does anyone know what’s going on with this book as it was stated that it would finally be released?

The Jodi Benson book is still up at $20-22 right now and probably will be for a while since it's new. I won't buy it until I can get it around $10-12. I don't spend that much on one book or a single film Blu-ray. I think I did spend $16 on each of the HP Illustrated Editions with artwork by Jim Kay just because there was so much art and the books were very large dimensions, too, but that's the only reason. I would only spend $20 on box sets. I checked the book again, I have it bookmarked, just now and saw that there's apparently an audio edition? At least there's a CD version listed.

So I'll be late to the party here as with most things. I'm sure somebody else has it here that could say.

Some good pieces of concept art, history behind the creation of the princesses, sections on music, clothing, toys/games, reimaginings, Parks, and more. Since there are so many princesses, it's not like each has a huge amount, but if you can't get enough of the princesses, then it's absolutely a worthy book.
