Yeah, I was thinking it was funny that this and the Disney Villains Survivor both ended up with Aladdin and TLM as the endgame.

Eric is more than just more than his appearance, he's also pretty adventurous and kind-hearted. He may not have a huge developed persona; but you can just admire how much he loves and wants to protect Ariel. Plus he loved voiceless Ariel and the real Ariel.
