Escape from Tomorrow - an indie shot at Disney World

Post by yamiiguy »

Some rather positive buzz coming out of Sundance about Escape From Tomorrow - a film shot at Disney World without Disney's consent. Will Disney try to suppress it? Who knows. They haven't commented so far.

Believe it or not, it's not illegal to film something in the Disney theme parks. Though I wonder if they feel differently, if the director were to put it on a DVD and sell it.

It isn't illegal to film, but it is illegal to film something that will be making money without consent.

But how about those who post their videos on YouTube and make money out of them?
