It looks like Disney is phasing out the Disney Fairies brand and reverting to the Tinker Bell name. On the updated website of Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, the Disney Fairies franchise has been replaced with a general Tinker Bell one, along with a new logo and brand description.
Tinker Bell inspires you to be yourself. She encourages you to find your wings, share your spirit, and leave your individual mark through a trail of pixie dust.

The new logo.

I'm agree with you. Disney Fairies world was amazing and full of wonderfull characters. The movies were awesome and the quality was very good, much better than some movies that are released in theatres...

sad. :( Looks like Jakks is done with the line as well as Im not seeing the Fairies dolls in stores anymore. I wonder if the new line will at least use a couple of the other fairies as sidekicks but under the new Tinker Bell banner.

It makes sense. The franchise is long dead.

Disney Store is using some fairies in their products. I've seen a t-shirt with tink, zarina and other fairies and a play-set of figurines

^Where have you been the last three years? The 7th movie called "Tinker Academy" was cancelled and the film series was put on hold indefinitely. Nothing has changed since then.

The Disney Fairies is franchise is shrinking even more. At this year's New York Toy Fair in February, where retailers and licensees preview their merchandise for the new year, there was no sign of anything Disney Fairies or Tinker Bell-related. Jakks Pacific, who holds the toy license for the franchise, did not feature any Fairies products and neither did any of Disney's frequent partners like Hasbro, Mattel, Blip Toys etc. In terms of publishing, things aren't looking that great either. Aside from The Never Girls, a series of spin-off novels, there isn't anything new being published; no new storybooks, coloring books or even calendars.

On the bright side, Tokyopop's division Disney Manga is publishing a three-volume Fairies manga that's based on pre-movie storybooks of the same name. These were released in Japan in 2008 and Tokyopop had published the first volume that same year in the U.S. but they never finished it. The first volume titled "Vidia and the Fairy Crown" will be re-released on July 25, 2017, the second volume titled "Tinker Bell's Secret" will be released on October 17, 2017, and the third volume titled "Rani in the Mermaid Lagoon" will be released on February 13, 2018. Two standalone Disney Fairies manga titled The Petite Fairy's Diary and The Great Fairy Rescue will also be released on December 12, 2017 and April 17, 2018 respectively.

On a related note, the lack of new movies must have created a void in the market because for the first time a Tinker Bell rip-off has been released. The New Adventures of Peter Pan: Fairy Friendship is a compilation of several episodes from a CG TV series that was made to look like a Disney Fairies movie.

I happened to glance at the Disney Channel today and I saw The Pirate Fairy was on (in its last 20-30 minutes). I never did see it, so tuned in (when Hook is fighting with the fairy on the ship). As soon as it went to the credits, I thought I must've been hit in the head. Am I having a delusion or was John Lasseter really such a narcissistic micromanaging egomaniac that he took over even the Tinker Bell series? Good God.

I can't speak for Disney's Divinity, of course, for certain, but I'm guessing:

John Lasseter ... (story by)
John Lasseter ... executive producer
Dontcha know that JL exec produced everything since he came on board? So, yes, Disney's Divinity,
was John Lasseter really such a narcissistic micromanaging egomaniac that he took over even the Tinker Bell series?
, yup.

There's a pirate exhibit at the D23 Expo about everything pirate-related across the company. The first gallery in the exhibit is about the history of pirates in film and showcases "Alice Foils the Pirates" from Alice Comedies, "King Neptune" from Silly Symphonies, a Mickey Mouse short titled "Shanghai", a shelved Mickey Mouse short called "Morgan's Ghost", a shelved Donald Duck short called "Pirate Gold", David Crockett, Treasure Island, Muppet Treasure Island, Treasure Planet, Peter Pan, Return to Never Land, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, James and the Giant Peach, Moana, Pirates of the Caribbean, Once Upon a Time, and Descendants 2.

Have you noticed something missing? Yes, in this very extensive and detailed exhibit on all-things pirate, "The Pirate Fairy" is oddly absent. Is Disney so over the Fairies franchise they've purposefully excluded it? It's hard to believe that its exclusion was a simple oversight in an otherwise well-researched and put-together exhibit that even covered obscure and abandoned projects. What's going on, Disney?

Tinker Bell will be making an appearance in Wreck-It Ralph 2.
Overhead, Iron Man blasts through the sky, Dumbo flutters into view, and an X-wing fighter darts after a TIE Fighter. Tinker Bell tickles Ralph’s nose until he insults her by calling her “Stinker Smell.”

Lasseter was sexually harassing the Disney Fairies face characters. :(
Two sources recounted Lasseter’s obsession with the young character actresses portraying Disney’s Fairies, a product line built around the character of Tinker Bell. At the animator’s insistence, Disney flew the women to a New York event. One Pixar employee became the designated escort as Lasseter took the young women out drinking one night, and to a party the following evening. “He was inappropriate with the fairies,” said the former Pixar executive, referring to physical contact that included long hugs. “We had to have someone make sure he wasn’t alone with them.”

That's indeed creepy. I know this might sound like a conspiracy theory, but could he be the reason why America Ferrera, Kristin Chenoweth and maybe even Angela Bartys left the franchise? Ferrera especially would make sense since she left after one movie and was rather abruptly replaced.

Then again, this might not have anything to do with them leaving. Maybe they were simply not available for later movies.
