Any possibility of a widescreen DVD of Brave Little Toaster

I'm not sure on if it was originally released in widescreen or not, but the most recent release is in full-screen and from what I hear has very poor picture quality. It seems to me like it has a somewhat large cult following on the internet, so Disney can't keep it with a substandard release forever.

I says assumed it was filmed/animated in 4:3 aspect ratio, if it wasn't though I'd definitely also love a widescreen release
