reliable eBay sellers for Disney VHS

Post by tlc38tlc38 »

I am looking to purchase the original Disney Black Diamond VHS collection and I was wondering if anyone has purchased VHS tapes from anyone on eBay and had a good experience. Just wondering, I don't want to get ripped off. If you've had good experiences in buying VHS tapes, please link me with the seller.

Thanks.

I'm sorry, but I don't see a point in that! I know you want to collection something, but, if you are collecting something like a piece of video then it is intended to WATCH it...but that is just me...good luck not getting ripped off. How will you ever tell if the iteam is legit? If you are not even going to open the seal of the VHS? I think you are a little over 20 years late in that collection, just start with Blu-Ray is you want to have a "sealed" collection. Go to a Best Buy, you know they don't sell fake and it will be legit. But hurry, cause the 1st patch of Blu-Rays are going into the vault this month.

I'm already doing the Blus. I want the Black Diamond collection because that's a huge piece of Disney history.

It sure is indeed. This line was created in 1984 to release Disney animated classics on home video for the first time. I have almost all of them, and some of them are very hard to find. I've bought various titles from numerous eBay sellers that were simply getting rid of their Disney videos because their kids grew out of them.

You could try this seller: http://shop.ebay.com/pressrewind!/m.htm ... ksid=p3686 - The seller seemed to have quite a few Black Diamond Classics VHS tapes.

Try videonight1000 used to buy/sell to her years ago. She has a huge collection of Disney Films. Send her an email if your looking for a rare disney film and she can probably hook you up.

Thank you for that Blu-ray propaganda completely irrelevant to the thread discussion. :P

I've had luck at Thrift stores finding Disney animation VHS for the past couple or years. Never had to pay more than $2.99 a tape.

I know Sleeping Beauty is one of the titles going back into the vault this month. Not sure of what other ones.
