I had this debate with a friend yesterday. We were gonna watch a DVD and he initially played it on the computer... Until I flipped. How could anyone prefer a computer screen to a normal TV??? (and the monitor size was 21")
Am I alone here? How do you watch movies? lol
Am I The Only One Who Can't Watch Movies On The Computer???

I much prefer to watch things on a TV screen. If like I'm stuck someplace and want to watch a DVD, then I don't mind watching it on my laptop, but if I have the option I always watch on a TV.

Generally, when I watch a movie I want it to be the best possible experience and so prefer watching it on a proper television with surround sound.
I know I may sound obsessive, but I also hate the movie to be interrupted at any point (e.g. a phone call). I never want to pause films. Furthermore, when I watch a movie I want to see it till the last frame rolls by. I watch all the end credits, all the logos and stuff. I get up when the film is well and truly over.
Is this somewhat eccentric? Or is it normal?

I don't like being interrupted when watching films. I think that's the case with most people, to be fair! I think that anybody has the right to be annoyed when being interrupted doing any activity they like. I used to watch all or most of the end credits when I was younger (unless I was in a cinema), but I wouldn't normally do it these days so much.Julian Carter wrote:I know I may sound obsessive, but I also hate the movie to be interrupted at any point (e.g. a phone call). LOL forget normal or not, it just sounds abusive. Doing something just to ease the obsessive mind...Julian Carter wrote:I know I may sound obsessive, but I also hate the movie to be interrupted at any point (e.g. a phone call).
