The Phantom Manor Discussion Thread

Not sure if anyone has done a thread for this yet, and let me know immediately if they have, but I decided to start one anyway if it wasn't done yet.

Phantom Manor... where do I begin? It's a pretty interesting take on The Haunted Mansion, and complete with a storyline as well.

I'll say 1 thing about PM, without Vincent Price's narration I doubt I could enjoy the attraction to it's full potential. He was the creative team's first choice and any other narrator is just a compromise.

I'm sure to visit it one day regardless but I may just miss MK's Haunted Mansion.

This is my favorite take on the Haunted Mansion because it is just so different from the others and the storyline is just so much darker. And the western ghost town finale? Love it!

Unfortunatley, it is half of what it can be right now. It needs a big refurbishment.

The last time I rode it, half of the ballroom dancing ghosts were not even spinning. The sound kept cutting in and out on the doom buggies.

Can't wait to ride Mystic Manor! That just might be my new favorite.

Well, I just hope they don't take out anything important in the refurbishing. Though the ride's only about.... seventeen years old.
