DVDs, CDs, books, cases, slipcovers/inserts for sale/trade

Post by blackcauldron85 »

Please make offers (for sale or trade) for anything you're interested in (either here or via email). If you need more info or pictures, please let me know! If you're interested in an offer but think I won't take a low offer, just try me! I'm just trying to make a little extra money, so any offer may just be a good offer!

If you want to pay, I accept PayPal, check, cash, or money order. If you want to trade, well, I'm pretty open. I would, however, rather, even if you trade, pay for shipping. I'm really low on funds right now, in terms of my spending money. But if you wouldn't want to do that, we could work something out.

Why I'm selling:
1. I haven't used the item ever or in a long time and I might as well get money that I can use instead of having the product.
2. For some of the CDs, I have other copies.
3. For the books, while useful, I just don't often read them. Some of them I got as Christmas presents and haven't even looked at them yet.

If you're wondering about where I'm keeping my DVDs and CDs now, I bought a crapload of jewel cases today and spent more of Bobby's hard-earned money that I need to pay back eventually than I should have, but it saves my "will CD wallets damage my media" situation.

************************************
Hannah Montana, Season 1 DVD set, opened, never watched. Let me know soon, because it's also up on Half.com.
*************************************

Lizzie McGuire, first 22 episodes boxset, opened, watched 1st disc. Let me know soon, because it's also up on Half.com.
****************************************

Does anyone need any specific inserts from Disney DVDs? For some of the titles I wouldn't be interested in buying newer editions of in the future, I'm going to get rid of the cases, so I'll have inserts. Please let me know if you need anything.
******************

I'm going to have a bunch (100 + maybe?) DVD cases soon, so if you need any, let me know! I'll also have some CD jewel cases, but not as many.
*********************

Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert. 3D DVD, 3D glasses, case, inserts. Everything but the 2D DVD, which I'm keeping.
************************

Slipcovers and Treasures tins/inserts. If you need any of these things, please list which ones, and I'll see if I have it. There are a lot to list and they're in the other room. I know that there's a slipcover trade thread, but this might be easier for me.
***************************

Wall-e Digital copy + DVD case (& all inserts) (the environmentally friendly DVD case) (I'm keeping the 2 DVDs).
****************************

High School Musical 3: Senior Year Blu-ray + Digital copy in the Blu-ray case (with inserts) (I'm keeping the DVD).
****************************

Bolt Digital copy + DVD case (& inserts)
*******************************

I'm going to have a few CD wallets- mostly ones that hold about 120 CDs or DVDs, all in very nice condition. I have one that holds I htink 48, too, and if you need smaller ones, I can give you a bunch of ones that hold 12, if you need.
*************

Books:

The Illusion of Life

Atlantis: The Essential Guide

Disney Dogs

Around the World with Disney

Disney Animation: Story

***************************
Large CD & DVD lot:

Notes:
All through "Headstrong", all are in great condition. Dinosaur has some scratches but should play. Hoku onward have surface scratches & should have no problem. All inserts that I have you will get. After Enrique, there is some wear. Justin Timberlake through Britney- Baby One More Time (or through Britney- Britney...I don't know which my notes meant) come with the CD and a CD-R copy, since the CDs have some wear. The rest of the CDs in the back are given free in the lot- they are pretty worn but you may get some play. In the smaller CD wallet, there are CD-Rs of albums; I legally downloaded these albums and will erase them from my computer when you buy the lot, thus giving you the rights, and these are included free. The Robyn CD should work, but I'm including the CD-R in case. I know the Drake Bell CD works, but I included the CD-R because I had one and figured why not.

All come together. You get 1 large CD wallet (holds about 120 or so), and one smaller one (which holds 12, I think). Shipping for the lot will be $10 regardless of the offer. No cases are included, and as stated earlier, if I have the inserts, you'll receive them. Only 1 DVD has inserts (plus one has a poster), but many of the CDs do.

As stated earlier, the DVDs (except Dinosaur, which has some scratches but should play) and the first group of CDs all are in excellent condition. The way I see it, you're getting a lot of free CDs, so if some aren't perfect (and the last few I just threw in to get rid of), then you essentially got them free. If you have any questions, please ask.

I'd love to sell this lot to save room and make some money. Please send me your offers- you know more than I do how much you'd pay for this lot!

Amy, I'm sad. There's so much stuff on here that I want, yet I don't have a heck of a lot of money :(

Oh well, live and learn.

I posted the CD/DVD lot, and some jewel cases, and some (non-Disney) books on Craigslist, and a lady wrote me back saying that she'd pay $25 for the lot and the DVD jewel cases. I know that's a sucky price, but from what you said in the other thread, it's best to take what you can get. I can use the $25 towards my debt to our main bank account, and it's better than keeping things I don't use that are taking up space.

The lady hasn't responded back (she emailed saying she could pick up tomorrow, but I didn't get home until around 2ish, so I emailed her back saying that if she can't come before 4:30, to let me know if she wants to come on Monday. No response, so we'll see. I went the Craigslist route because I didn't want to pay for the lisitings and worry about shipping and stuff- if I can't sell them another way, though, I will list them on eBay.

For future reference, I would try to haggle a little bit. Maybe say that you really need the money, and you were hoping to get at least $30? Always try to raise the price by $5 if you feel it's too low. :P

I'm not good at haggling! :p I thought of sending her an email saying, "You can have it if no one else offers higher", but didn't. She has not contacted me since, though, so if anyone here wants it and is willing to pay more than $25 for it (and $10 shipping), then let me know!

Ryan, how much do you have? Do you have $40 ($30 + $10 s/h)? :)

I'm doing a massive cleaning out of my things, and if anyone wants any of the following, just pay $3 shipping fees:

Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert. 3D DVD, 3D glasses, case, inserts. Everything but the 2D DVD, which I'm keeping.
************************

Wall-e Digital copy + DVD case (& all inserts) (the environmentally friendly DVD case) (I'm keeping the 2 DVDs).
****************************

High School Musical 3: Senior Year Blu-ray + Digital copy in the Blu-ray case (with inserts) (I'm keeping the DVD).
****************************

Bolt Digital copy + DVD case (& inserts)

And don't forget- I have slipcovers, Treasures tins (just the tins & inserts- I'm not selling the discs), and inserts (for all the DVDs I have that came with them). If anyone has any ripped DVD covers (the paper, not the case), then let me know and I might be able to help you. For titles I won't be rebuying, I can just give you the cover insert.

Nope, those are just price reductions, I guess...things I'm trying to get rid of.

But for HSM3, it just sold on Half.com for $6.50, so that's unavailable.

Idk if you can respond to PM's, but if you're interested enough in the DVD/CD lot to make an offer, let me know. I've just been getting rid of as much excess stuff as possible lately.

Ah, that's alright. If you do ever happen to come across one you don't want, though, please keep me in mind. :P

Oh, there's also another I was hoping you might have, but I doubt it since it's not Disney. Would you happen to have the slipcover for Anastasia? Worth a try since many Disney lovers like that movie too, myself included

I must use my quote that I use with people often in the real world:

That's not Disney!

Nope, I don't have the Anastasia slipcover, sorry!

Oh, I know it's not Disney! It was just worth a shot since so many Disney lovers like that movie as well. :P

I find myself using that quote all the time in the real world. Of course, there were those days a long time ago when I thought it was Disney too

I don't mind Don Bluth films, at least the ones I've seen. There is always something that isn't quite right (like in Anastasia, I think that Rasputin is just not a good villain...he just doesn't fit, IMO), but I think that their films are the best out of any of Disney's competition.

*********

On topic of this thread, I still have things for sale, but I have just-like-brand-new copies of The Illusion of Life Walt Disney Animation Studios: The Archive Series- Story, and Disney's Dogs. I'll give a really good deal if anyone is interested- lower than you can get on Amazon! The books are great for Disney fans, but I'm just trying to clean out my house and make some money, and I'm more interested in behind-the-scenes books than the art books.

Do you still have the Digital Copy of Wall-e and also has the code been used to redeem Wall-E yet? Just making sure....

Also I was wondering if you had the booklet in the treasure tin about Annette....the one that tells you whats on what disc because I would be very interested in having that if you have it or I'll buy it...

I still have the Wall-e digital copy, and I haven't used it, but I have used the DMR code...does that matter? I don't know much at all about how the digital copies work. And, yes, I have the Annette inserts, too. I guess email me and we can discuss payment or whatever. amy.d.braun@gmail.com

Thanks!
