I was flipping through the TV guide just now and found that SCICH (Comcast channel 110) is showing Roving Mars at 10PM (eastern time) which is in a little less than an hour! The DVD isn't due for a release until like a month or so. If anyone is interested and didn't get to see this in the Imax (like me) I thought I'd let everyone know so they can catch it....for free!!! I'll be DVRing this one too.
Enjoy!

This short documentary was actually pretty good. Granted it WAS educational, and I'm kind of a sucker for those non-story Disney movies that rely on visuals (i.e. American's Heart and Soul, Ghosts of the Abyss, Aliens of the Deep, etc). There was just some really cool CGI sequences that involved every step of a shuttle launch that really, REALLY got my mind thinking and my imagination going about the possibilities of us actually being able to do these things!!! I'm still amazed at what we've come up with in our approach to space....it really makes me want to invest money and support any research in space (which I think was sort of the purpose of this film....there was even a text mark at the beginning saying that this was a PSA for NASA and some Disney affiliate).
Overall, I don't think of it as a theatre film, but rather a GREAT episode of a Tomorrowland episode of the Disneyland Anthology series.....I could totally see Walt introducing this and getting all excited and beaming about "Progress".
