Ok, so I realize that this is an incredibly childish question, one you would ask your friends in 2nd grade, but it is still a great poll question none the less. I want to know what your favorite color is, and if you have a reason why.... let's hear that too! Obviously, I didn't list every single color, but the basic ones are there. If you like a particular shade of one color, just vote for the main color and specify your shade with a post.
My vote goes to GREEN!

i can name three people who hate blue even though they're just a character on tv, the boyz in motion on that's so raven.

So, I voted for red. And, just to be technical, brown, black and white aren't colors. They're neutrals.
EDIT: So that I don't carry this into another post and get off-topic:
Neutral: shades of white, black, gray or tan.
Neutrals work well with all colors or may be worn together. Khaki pants, white shirt and a gray sweater worn together create an ensemble made up of all neutral colors. Together, all neutrals may not be a dynamic look, but it is sophisticated.
Black, White, Gray, Tan, and Brown are not separate colors on the color wheel, but are made up of different percentages of red, yellow and blue. To make neutral colors mix either all three primary colors, or mix a primary and secondary color (secondary colors are made from mixing two primaries).
and since when has Turquoise been more of a color than Indigo and Violet? Turquoise is down there with Teal and "Flesh".
Ooh, I totally agree!
Indigo or blue-purple is essentially my favorite color, but purple's the closest to that. I don't know why I love it. Maybe it's the union of red and blue. Blue is a soft, calming color, which has much to do with my personality, and red is a vibrant color that matches my vibrancy and showiness. Purple is also a royal color and I like to think of myself as something specia and princessy. Yes, you read that correctly.
Don't know why there is a separate pink and red because pink is just a lighter shade of red. Anyway I voted for red anyway, and black would be my second, and a tie for green and blue for my third.
Red and blue are my two favorite colors. Red is just inches ahead of blue, though. I also light blue colors. Here's my favorite colors in order,
Red
Blue
Brown
Green

To be technical brown is a color, maybe neutral but still a color. Black, white, and gray are not colors they are tints and shades.
simple defintions from dictionary.com:
Brown
1. a dark tertiary color with a yellowish or reddish hue.
Black
1. lacking hue and brightness; absorbing light without reflecting any of the rays composing it.
2. characterized by absence of light; enveloped in darkness: a black night.
White
20. a hue completely desaturated by admixture with white, the highest value possible.
These defintions are not the definitions of someone from a fashion/clothes website.
Best Movies of 2009:
1. Moon
2. Inglorious Basterds
3. The Hurt Locker
4. Coraline
5. Ponyo
I'll go with BLUE. There's just something with that color that attracts my eyes. Whatever it is, it shall remain in obscure mystery. BLACK is a close second. You couldn't possibly count the black shirts I own.
