Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List Discussion

Post by Ting Ting »

Does anybody here watch Kathy Griffin's reality series on Bravo, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List? It's currently in it's third season, though I just became a fan recently, and was nominated for an Emmy during it's second season.

Apparently the first season was released on DVD two days ago, but I can't seem to find it anywhere but online. I'm keeping my eyes wide open!

If you haven't watched it yet, I highly reccomend it to anyone looking for a good laugh. It's just a fun show!

That's my new favorite show.... I just started watching. I used to think she was annoying, well, she still is sometimes... but she's funny as hell. I think I was just annoyed by her in the 90s because she was always with Andy Dick... who's beyond annoying... Now I love her.... :D

I've seen the previous two seasons, and am enjoying this one as well. I love Kathy Griffin, but I just wish the seasons would last more than like 6 episodes or however long they are... I WANT MORE KATHY!!!

I know what you mean.

I just can't get enough of it! She's HILARIOUS! She doesn't look too shabby for her age either. :p Uh...I mean...er...did I just say that about Kathy Griffin?

:shifty:

I actually don't really watch My Life on the D-List. I don't get much of a kick out of it. I really don't like the scenes with her talking to her parents. But when she's doing a stand-up show, a real stand-up show, she's hilarious and I wouldn't miss it if I knew it was on.

I don't make a point of not watching it, but when it's on I'm usually either not watching TV or there's something better on.

Really? That's surprising. I figured you'd be the first person here at UD that would watch My Life on the D-List.

I agree with you, Laz, about her stand-up act. She's freakin' riot! She never ceases to leave out a joke that will offend someone in some way, shape, or form...but that's what I love about her! The girl speaks her mind.

Her stand-up act is another reason why I want the season one DVD so badly. It contains an entire act called Kathy Griffin is Not...Nicole Kidman. I've seen some clips of it on YouTube and I about died. I NEED THIS SET!

Oh, that's cool. I was hoping they'd also include Strong Black Woman, but, I guess you can't get everything.

They should release a DVD with just her stand-up shows on it. But, there is the Allegedly DVD.

So I was flipping through the guide on TV today and noticed that one of Kathy's stand-up shows will be airing on Bravo this Saturday at 3:00 PM. The show is called Everyone Can Suck It, and from what I've read about it online, it's one of her funniest acts to date! If you miss it on Saturday, it will also be airing quite a bit throughout the week. Check your local listings!
