Hellfire- important life lesson: sex is good. and You can't deny that.

Gaston- I love songs that talk about how great their self are. especially the inside jokes use in 4chan.

Huffalumps and Woozles- Are they even considered villians???? Anyway this song and scenery is SO trippy.

My favourite is Ratigan from The Great Mouse Detective.

I like Hellfire and Savages too, and also Trust in Me from The Jungle Book.

Cheers

Be Prepared could possibly be my favourite song of all time, so that tops my list. I also adore I Wan'na be like you (but DO NOT mention the Joanas Brothers version), Cruella DeVille, Gaston, Perfect isn't easy, and Poor unfortunate souls.

My favorite villain songs are:

1. Be Prepared
2. Cruella De Vil (this song gets stuck in my head so much)
3. Hellfire
4. Friends on the Other Side
5. Poor Unfortunate Souls
6. Gaston
7. Kill the Beast

I wish Jafar had a full-fledged song. The Prince Ali (reprise) was good, but it would have been nice if he had his very own song.

I agree with you regarding a full-fledged song for Jafar. My villain song number 1 is the Jafar-song "Why Me" by Alan Menken and Tim Rice. The song did not end up in the movie, but it can be found at The Music Behind the Magic CD-boxset, on Youtube and on the Aladdin DVD.

Other favourites in no particular order:

- Hellfire
- Poor Unfortunate Souls
- Savages
- Prince Ali (Reprise)

Although I'm not a big fan of TLK, I'm temped to say 'Be prepared' as well. Jeremy Irons is just so good in his performance, and the whole atmosphere in the song is just incredible. I really like the allusions to dictatorial regimes, when the hyena's are marching in front of Scar --gives me the chills. I also think the lyrics are built up so well: "that's why I'll be king, undisputed, respected, saluted, and seen for the WONDER I am!" Best part of the movie.

The other song that comes to mind is 'Hellfire' from HotND. Frollo already was the best villain of all Disney-films up until that point, but that song really nailed it! Was he frightening! Whenever I show this scene to people, they always look at me, very concerned, and ask me: "And this is a DISNEY film?" That proves it's good.

love those songs too, carolinakid! :D Siamese Cats is really catchy. I think it would be my 11th favourite

My top 10 favourites are:
1. Mother knows best (reprise): for some reason I dont really care for the official version but the reprise is so sinister and catchy, really makes the song and melody shine. I especially love the line "If hes lying, dont come crying".
2. Poor unfortunate souls: also such a great villain song.
3. Let me make you Proud (reprise) (Tangled the series): i know its no official "villain" song, but if you had to choose between good or evil, its evil. Love the reprise so much. I always get goosebumps in this version ahh. Mr. Menken still got it :thumb:
4. Poor unfortunate souls (reprise)
5. Prince Ali (reprise)
6. Friends from the other side
7. Be prepared
6. Snuff out the Light (tEnG/KotS)
7. Hellfire

8.Badder (Disenchanted): most of the songs are kinda lackluster and really pale in comparison to the first, but Badder is really catchy.
9. Queen of mean (descendants 3): I remember how OBSESSED i was with this one when it came out. Its really catchy and probably the only Descendants song I like.
10. Nothing left to lose (Tangled the series): the dynamic kinda reminds me of For the First time in forevers reprise, only if Elsa would have stayed evil. Love the song so much.
My favourite Disney songs:

Hellfire. This one has the best lyrics imo, and I love the "Mea Culpa" chants.

Mother Knows Best the reprise. The ending is absolutely amazing! she sounds so menacing in the reprise.

Poor unfortunate souls
Be prepared
Cruella de Vil
Yodel from Home on the Range
Gaston

I LOVE Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee! Thanks for reminding me, Farerb!! It totally slipped my mind when I was going through the Walt era films. I love Honest Johnโ€™s vocal, but I especially love the instrumental version that accompanies the trip to Pleasure Island! When I was a child and played the soundtrack I used to march around the room during that track!

I tend to forget songs I disliked, but the first I can think of is Mine from Pocahontas - it felt like a missed opportunity when the song was pretty underwhelming, to me at least. The visuals were great, the villain was great, it could have been much more interesting if the song was better

Yeah, it's one of the worst ones for sure. Personally, I'm torn between "Shiny" and "This Is the Thanks I Get" for the last spot.

My favorites are (in chronological order):

โ€ข Pour Unfortunate Souls (& Reprise)
โ€ข Be Prepared (& Reprise)
โ€ข Why Me?
โ€ข Prince Ali (Reprise)
โ€ข Hellfire
โ€ข Snuff Out the Light
โ€ข Friends on the Other Side (& Reprise)
โ€ข Mother Knows Best (Reprise)

I also like The Mob Song and Savages, but I don't consider them villain songs.
