Fake Dvds at Disney Movie Club!

Hello guys!

I hope this is not wasting much bw but, I couln't find a way to make it a Post Package*, I didn't have anything else to go with it...

* A bunch of topicsabout the same thing posted all together into one thread.

Anyway, I finally got my Free 3 DVDs from the Disney Movie Club (Robin Hood, The Great Mouse Detective, The Rescuers Down Under) and I noticed some things missing...

Well, the Great Mouse cover was missing the purple "From the creators of The Little Mermaid and The Lion King" label was missing, Is this normal???

And the Rescuers DU DVD was missing its Animals of the Outback booklet, Is Disney in some kind of new experiment or something???

Well, I would hardly say these are "fakes".
More-than-likely they are reprint omissions.

I didn't quite mean "Fakes" I just meant, not the ones I see at my neighboorhood store...

I would say that they are mistakes etc. When I bought some movies from there awhile back the Chapter insert was missing from the film. I got kinda suspicious. but When I went to buy another DVD from Target a couple months later, there was the same situation, yet everyone else I knew had it in it.

I think the result is in the Varieants. It is Disney's way to keep tabs on who is buying from consumers and who is buying from the club.

I don't know, Maybe I'm crazy.

That animal booklet that you mentioned didn't get packed with a lot of the Rescuers DU discs. They were put in with another movie, Gold Collection, but I don't remember which one.

Speaking about the animal booklet,back in June,I bought my first Disney Animated DVD,The Fox and The Hound,at Target.On the back,it promises a booklet,but it was not in there.So they don't only do that in the DMC!

Chapter Insert

Hi,
I was missing some chapter inserts and call 1-800-729-4763 and I asked how come there wasn't one in Atlantis II. The lady said their not making them anymore but ones that already come out like fox and the hound just say you don't have it or whatever movie and they will send it to you for free!

I bought Love Bug from the club and there was no booklet in it. When I called the club they said it wasn't supposed to come with anything

That's right, The Rescuers wasn't supposed to bring a chapter index neither.
