Lilo & Stitch on TV tonight (U.S.)

Post by Lady »

For those located in the U.S., Lilo and Stitch will be on tonight at 7 pm on the Wonderful World of Disney (ABC). I know everyone already owns it on DVD, but they sometimes have clips about "making of the film" and previews of future disney movies during the 2 hour segment.

Happy watching everyone! Sitch is so cute and fluffy!

That's a pretty fast turnaround for a TV debut, I think. But then, didn't Emperor's New Groove debut on ABC about a year after it hit theaters, too?

nod. i'm surprised as well. maybe it is a last ditch effort to market the direct-to-video stitch sequel that just came out recently. i would have thought they would release the movie on primetime television sometime next year when the 2disc special edition comes out.

They supposedly have a sneak peak at Brother Bear during this broadcast Still, this is P&S so I don't think it's worth my watching when I've got it on DVD in a stunner 1.66:1 transfer. If I get a chance I'll turn it on at 9ish when it's over because that's usually when they put the previews, but otherwise I'll skip it.

I was watching it,but my dog got bored,so I stopped watching it(Already seen it).Plus, they were showing it in soft matte,so you really don't lose any picture.

Well, it was animated in 1.66:1...so while you're seeing more on top and bottom than the theater, you should still be missing around 20% off the sides and seeing only the height that is presented on the DVD.
